Truly lovely place. This hotel that was, now hired out with 5 double rooms very tastefully decorated. Nice lounge and eating area, perfect for a party of 10. Kitchen boasted a range cooker which served as a very easy way of feeding the many. Great bar area and bbq facilities. Spent a lovely day walking to 3 Cliffs Bay, a...

This is a high standard restaurant with very modern and comfortable rooms. Very comfortable beds with high standard of linen and facilities. Bathroom facilities excellent - very hot water, plentiful accessories and double washbasins. TV a complete mystery and should have instructions in room. Breakfast very good although rather slow. Welsh breakfast included laverbread and cockles. Cuisine at dinner absolutely...

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Room very comfortable, however a few things to note.Firstly the TV is impossible to work and no instructions in room - in fact no welcome pack at all in room. Secondly no phone in room which meant if we needed anything I had to ring from my mobile on external line to...

With just five rooms this "restaurant with rooms" is just that, with the emphasis on some excellent dining with local ingredients and a modern presentation. The wine list has some interesting choices. The rooms are in "boutique" style with very comfortable beds and modern fittings. The bathrooms need a bit of a refresh and I understand this is planned for...

Nice clean place. Very friendly staff- no fuss at all when we showed up much too early for breakfast. Room was comfy but quite small. We had dinner in the restaurant and whilst pricey, it was certainly worth it. Location is good as within walking distance of an amazing beach but yes, it is also next to a very busy...

This was my first ever trip to Wales and we stayed for one night at Maes-yr-Haf. Superb customer service by all staff - nothing was too much trouble. Lovely room and a really great bathroom. Parking easy. Free WiFi to the room - which more than made up for the lack of mobile phone signal. I didn't find it noisy...

I was in The Gower for a wedding and spent 2 nights at Maes-yr-Haf. It's a fabulous place, the rooms are beautiful with all you could need. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff very friendly and helpful. I would (and probably will) happily stay here again.

Had a fantastic couple of days at Maes-yr-Haf. For anyone without a car, this is a great spot for a stunngingly beautiful walk to the gorgeous, quiet, sandy beach at Three Cliffs Bay. The 30 min stroll along the footpath (it isn't really the 20mins you'll hear mentioned) takes in pretty much every element of the picturesque you could hope...

We were very dispapointed when we arrived at Maes yr Haf, on the map it looked like it was on a minor road in Gower, but that road turned out to be very busy. And we could hear the noise of the cars very clearly (even with the windows closed). At the other side of the road was a shop...

My wife and I spent 3 days at Maes-yr-Haf. The rooms were modern and very comfortable. The restaurant was of a very high standard as was the breakfast the following morning. A footpath behind the restaurant takes you to Three Cliffs Bay with beautiful beaches and views and walks on the cliffs. Finally the service was excellent, very friendly and...
