In 2016 I proposed to my now wife in the hills above Scopello. Having fallen in love with the village and the people we quickly agreed that this is where we wanted to get married. The Hotel Torre Bennistra was the obvious choice for the reception and for the wedding party to stay, with stunning views across the ancient coastline...

This is a tired outdated hotel that is overpriced. We had a lovely sea view, but that's really not enough these days! Decoration is outdated, the bedlinen old, the towels thin. The shower cubicle leaked and flooded the bathroom. Breakfast is very poor - orange juice substitute - in a land of oranges! - and terrible coffee. Our evening meal...

We were very happy with our mountain-view room, which afforded beautiful views, day and night, towards the nearby Riserva Naturale dello Zingaro and the sea. The hotel is well located for hiking and swimming in the reserve. The room was nicely appointed with high-quality furniture and a double built-in armadio for all storage needs. The small bathroom was a bit...

This hotel is a family run gem. You feel at home the moment you enter. The breakfasts are divine. Was lucky enough to attend a wedding during my stay the chef creations for the meal still have my mouth watering. We were a family of four staying in one of the triples. The room was so spacious. The view from...

This is a very nice hotel in the centre of the beautiful town Scopello. It is not easy to reach the hotel with the car, but the parking is only 5 minutes walking from the hotel and this also makes that the hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood. The welcome was very friendly and the personnel speaks enough English...

The hotel is in a beautiful location just off the main square in Scopello down a very attractive cobbled street. Our room was spacious, with spectacular views to the sea. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful.

Scopello was on my list of beautiful places to see while travelling around Sicily. I knew getting there by public transport would be difficult but gave it a go which was a delight in itself. I caught a school bus from Trapani Port to Castellammare del Golfo then a small local bus to Scopello, which took much of the day,...

My husband and I ate at Torre Bennistra two times in our 4 days in Scopello. The food was delicious, but the view from the terrace trumped everything! The terrace was a beautiful, intimate setting, Our waitress, Matia, was top-notch! She was extremely personable and went out of her way to make sure we were enjoying our lunch experience! We...

We stayed one night at this place. We booked a room with balcony and sea view. The room itself was nice and clean, but nothing special. The view from the balcony is really amazing. Beakfast was ok and again view from the balcony there was very beautiful too. There not too many options in Scopello. This hotel is definitely a...

Perfectly nice, (if a little old fashioned), family run establishment with all the quirks and oddities one expects from that sort of a place. Mum, for example, can be found in reception making hats and mats from straw. If arriving by car, don't be swayed into parking in one of the car parks on the entrance to the village. Instead,...
