We spent 6 very enjoyable, comfortable days here and nothing was too much trouble for them. The property is in set quiet relaxing setting, with plenty of interesting places to visit within easy... Jez and Julie are excellent hosts with a keen eye for detail in this lovely spot in rural Brittany. After a warm Yorkshire welcome we had a welcome cup of tea in the charming stone-built summerhouse and an afternoon nap in the cosy room overlooking the courtyard. Breakfasts include delicious bread and croissants, home made jams and freshly brewed coffee.... More

It is quiet, clean, comfortable, and above all, Julie and Jez are friendly and cheerful. They only have one guest room (double bed, ensuite shower-room, armchairs), and you also get the use of the summerhouse across the courtyard. That comes with log burner, armchairs, table and chairs, fridge, cutlery etc, and since 2014, a decked area also with chairs. It... More

this bijou location is spotlessly clean & pindrop quiet, with nice little touches in the room (books, corkscrew etc) set in nice garden with nothing but countryside views, yet only a few minutes from places to eat & visit. Nice little area out the front to sit when there is some sun

Very pretty and tastefully renovated farmhouse in a quiet, idyllic location. The nicely appointed chambre d'hotes on the ground floor has access through French windows to a small patio area and to parking. Our hosts were charming and made us very welcome. The breakfast was very good. There was plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. Altogether a... More

Toul Bleiz was truly one of the highlights of our trip through Brittany . It is a darling stone house that has been completely refurbished and modernized , while still keeping the rustic ambiance and unique touches that one would hope to find in a historic Breton cottage such as this. The owner/hosts, Jez Rooke and his wife Julie, are... More
