We had a absolutely faultless experience here staying in the peaceful village of Kipeck in Herefordshire; truly one of the most beautiful parts of the British countryside. The owners of Dippersmoor Manor, Amanda and Hexxie, were at ease with themselves and the world they lived in and this showed in every detail of their attentive, kindly, but unobtrusive hospitality. A...

What separates Dippersmoor Manor from other B&Bs is the amazing property with its period features and historic feel, whilst having all modern conveniences one would expect of a top quality B&B. The views across the countryside are delightful. The rooms are spacious, clean and very well presented. The service was superb and the owners were very welcoming. It was a...

Unquestionably Herefordshire's best kept secret. Amanda and Hexie looked after us superbly. What a beautiful house and Amanda's food is simply to die for! The pea and horseraddish soup was the highlight. We can't wait to return.

I wanted to take my wife somewhere special for her Birthday and could not have picked a better spot than Dippersmoor Manor. The house lies in the beautiful countryside of Herefordshire at the end of a poplar avenue drive just outside Kilpeck. The rooms were very welcoming and Hexie Millais was the ultimate host. It felt like home from home...

Dippersmoor Manor is without exaggeration the best B & B we have ever stayed in. The fact that we have just returned from our third visit speaks for itself. Our hosts, Hexie and Amanda Millais, are genuinely warm and friendly and made us feel extremely welcome from beginning to end, giving us tea in front of a roaring log fire...

Dippersmoor Manor is an elegant house set in a stunning location. We hadn't read the small print carefully so hadn't registered that guests were not 'expected' to return during the day - our mistake. It was made very clear, on a brief return to change our clothes and make ourselves a cup of tea, that our return was unwelcome. It...

Food excellent, and afternoon tea by the roaring fire was just what we needed. Will definitely be going back.

We stayed one night at Dippersmoor Manor and were greeted by Hexie and Amanda with afternoon tea, homemade cake and a roaring fire. The rooms were lovely, spacious and the heated blankets on the beds were a nice touch. I would recommend having the dinner option at Dippersmoor, Amanda is an amazing chef, the food was just to die for!...

I stayed six nights! Very comfortable room, lovely house, wonderful hospitality and great breakfast. Chutney (the dog) deserves special mention for being a willing companion on my walks - did I mention the pretty countryside & very welcoming hosts Amanda and Hexie? Really couldn't have been better!

Mr and Mrs Millais offer excellent hospitality in surroundings that are elegant and quintessentially English. The house is set in glorious country, and is also within easy reach of other interesting places for cultural and sporting pursuits.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Dippersmoor Manor is a wonderful listed 16th century family run house. Hexie and Amanda have lovingly restored the property over many years. They have been running the house as a luxury B & B for over seven years and take huge pride in looking after their guests with all the care and attention you would expect. The house itself is steeped in history and provides every amenity. We are in the heart of the superb walking and cycling country of The Marches and Offa's Dyke, and there are many historic castles, National Trust properties, gardens and churches to visit in the area. ... more   less
