If Marcel Proust would have been compelled to stay in Martinique today, he would have been pleased to stay here. Far from the crowd ,open to the sea and with a large, silent garden, rooms furnished and decorated in a elegant 'antique style' with real antique pieces, common spaces full of private corners always with a view to the landscape...

We drove in at night, so waking up to the spectacular view of the Atlantic and the rugged coastline was like an island dream. Perched high on a hill looking over sugar cane fields cascading down to the water, the inn is the renovated early 20th century manor house of a prominent island family. The architecture with its spacious verandas,...

The location of the hotel and the balcony views of the ocean were spectacular. Definitely not for the Club Med crowd but a great starting point for exploring the island. The two dinners we had on site were outstanding. Enjoyed chatting with our host on a variety of mutual interests. Cons - difficult to find at night on the first...

We stayed here on a previous trip and were disappointed. Our room had a lovely view of the sea but property was tired and worn and in need of repair. It was off a side road, hard to find, and then up a very steep drive which I wouldn't try at night. We had dinners here until one evening our...

This hotel is impossible to find. I spent two - three hours hours driving aimlessly asking everyone I can find, in the dead of night where this hotel is. Hotel.com never sent me the GPS co-ordinates to get there and every single GPS takes you to the incorrect address. Due to the mountainous and curvy nature of the geography of...

This is your place when you want to experience a different Caribbean experience in an authentic plantation setting with a lovely main building and, in our case, a very comfortable and large apartment that was perfect for our family of 5. The original booking however was for a villa at the price of the apartment, we ended up with the...

An authentic, charming French Plantation estate features rooms in the main house, as well as outlying apartments directly adjoining. The view of the big blue sea from the large shady porch is fantastic, the gentle breeze magnificent, the atmosphere is casual and carefree. The swimming pool is well kept. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast on the porch. If you rent a...

Wonderful place to stay (especially the manor). But the service is not really friendly. Breakfast overpriced and not so great (no real coffee but nescafe). Dinner was great the first night, but disappointing the second.

We stayed at Le Domaine St. Aubin for a week from the end of March through the beginning of April 2015. What a wonderful experience it was! Laurent, the owner, suggested that we stay at the Lodges, which turned out to be a suite without a kitchen (which I specifically didn’t want) with an absolutely fabulous, large covered porch overlooking...

A few weeks ago while travelling in Martinique with a couple of friends, we decided to spend 1 night in the North of the island. We booked this hotel on the internet & did not have time to check TA. On arrival we were very pleased with our choice, as the area & hotel looked beautiful at first glance. Yes,...
