The hotel and people are nice, but the music was so loud a few doors down that we could not sleep until after midnight sometime. This happened on a Friday and Saturday night. What good is a nice hotel if you can't sleep?

We stopped for lunch and we were in a hurry. We ordered several dishes like fajitas, quesadillas, french fries, drinks and dessert. Everything was delicious. Moises was our server and he was great. The ambiance was relaxed and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place.

We had dinner here tonight and absolutely loved it. The staff were fantastic. The food was delicious and the view was stunning. The place had a fantastic atmosphere. The bar man and our waiter really went above and beyond making us leave with massive smiles. Just sad were not staying there.

Beautiful and amazing hotel, the service is more than awesome, the view to the lagoon is gorgeous and everything was more than lovely. For sure, the best hotel in Bacalar. It's a most do In Quintana Roo. Bacalar town is small and quite, so if you are looking for a place to meditate, relax and be happy with the world,...

We went there to have lunch. The food took a long time to arrive, but was good. Yet we hoped to swim and kayak in the lake, but it got lake. Overall, the place had good food, but the beach and the restrooms were not very clean. It could be that there were many tourists there because of the dates(...

The place is great and has a good view. When we arrived, by 12 pm, a man came out and told us they weren't able to receive us since they had just finished serving breakfast and stopped serving. We convinced him to let us in and had to wait until 2 pm to eat/drink anything. You cannot order anything unless...

Firstly, the property calls itself a "hotel" but is listed under "specialty lodging" in TA, so I never would have found this property on my own as I do not stay in "specialty lodging". Having stayed here, I would definitely put this property in the "boutique hotel" category. We happened into Bacalar without reservations and the taxi driver recommended the...

We didn't stay there to sleep, but we used like a ‘day use’ space and it was perfect. Food and drink were good, service was decent but the highlight is the view of the lagoon and the open area that the hotel offers. There are resting chairs and swings to admire the perfect lagoon and its colors. Next time I’ll...

We were immediately charmed by the place but we were looking for a room with a water front. The staff was very slow in offering us the right room. We came a second time after having called by phone (on the same day) and only then they showed us a room which was exactly what we had asked for in...
