We stayed here near the end of Nov 2014 in one of the upstairs rooms #4 with a private covered deck and view of the lake. The room was basic but clean. Sky TV, aircon and ceiling fan all worked. There is no breakfast offered. There is a fridge and microwave but the "kitchen" is not available. There is a...

I stayed here with my family in January and all 6 of us loved it. Very secure, clean and well located. Rooms are big with ceiling fans and Tvs. Big bathroom with tons of hot water and shower pressure. Beds are huge but very noisy, the frame is very loud even if you just turn from one side to the...

Me and my 2 Mexican friends stayed 1 night in a triple room on the top floor. Although our air-con didn't work (after numerous attempts from the owner Bob) we decided to stay in the room due to its superb view. Bob doesn't have breakfast but there is a cute place on the nearby zocaló. And if you decide to...

Stayed here 3 days with our family. Brilliant relaxed atmosphere, beatiful location with acces to the most beatiful lake we've experienced! Blue, fresh and clear water. Room was more than adequate for 4, bathroom clean, room was cleaned every day. The big terrace, livingroom and garden make it feel very spacious. Only downside is that there is no breakfast provided...

We stayed one night in transit from Tulum to Mahahual, and it was basic but very clean, comfortable and welcoming, TV in our room, and a great wifi connection in our room too. We hung around on the jetty in the sunshine all afternoon until our bus left - sooooo relaxing, and the lagoon itself is just incredible - we...

We were a party of four and we found Amigo's better than some of the reviews. Our room, #5' had this killer view. It was large and comfortable. A king bed and a set of bunk beds too. More than enough for the two of us. Large bathroom. The towels were large and NOT threadbare as some reviews stated. Not...

Amigo's is a pleasant B&B in a fantastic location in Bacalar. We came across this find at the end of a long, hard, hot and sweaty day of birding in the Yucatan. We needed a place to sleep for the night, we two and our guide. This meant paying for two rooms instead of one, so price was a factor...

We were overall pleased with this B&B. The location is very nice, right on the lake. Rooms are very basic. Towels are very old and thread bare. Breakfast is not much, but had fresh coffee. Bed was comfortable.

Overall this place is really good. I'll get to the "however" in a bit. The price was 800 pesos per night for two people, including breakfast (750 without breakfast). We showed up on the day, in the low season. There might have been only one other couple there. Felt like reasonable value for money. Also includes WIFI and there's an...

I'm actually laying in the hammock on my deck as I write this review. I have spent 4 amazing nights at Amigo's. My daughter (8yrs. old) I and have enjoyed our stay so much that we don't want to move on to our next destination. (We've been traveling around Mexico all of December) Rosy and Beto (the staff here) are...
