I took 2 1/2 months to write this review because I wanted to have a cold head and I arrived to that point. I have been to many places and different countries and I also know what rustic is (see my costa del sol / punta allen review). In this particular case I have to say that the the lagoon...

We all learn from horrible experiences. I have been reminded to trust my gut more. Right from the group of 8 arrival when the wife introduced her husband, the author of the review as "her Mexican souvenir from 20 years ago to the use of 6 rolls of toilet paper in one evening I should have known I was in...

What a wonderful escape from it all this is. Cool nights and lazy days by the river in this secluded off grid simple paradise . Worth the effort to be off grid. Bring supplies and an ecological spirit

I have gone to this place twice, the first time was six years ago; I had awesome memories of this place, so I decided to come back. I can tell you that this place is a paradise in the middle of the jungle, you wake up and hear the birds, then you can go and have coffee on the dock...

Mis Casa is off the beaten path, It's a bit of a drive, off the highway - and you might think you are lost - but follow the directions are you end up at the beautiful Mis Casas. I have visited Mis Casa's 3 times and have enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, relaxing in the hammock while reading a book. I stayed...

I spend a week here. The location is ideal, and the views stunning. My experience was relaxing. Mis Casas is comfortable and not overly pruned or built up. The hotel is in keeping with its surrounding which made me feel more connected with nature.

After 4 days in the jungle with Kat and the cats I came home recharged and ready to go back to work! Swimming in the lake and walking down the jungle road, toucans and herons, jesus lizards walking on water and the best hostess caring for me made my short stay memorable. I stayed in Misty on the second floor...

Our group of 5 stayed two nights and could have happily stayed longer. When Kim explained the solar electric system and its very minor limitations she said that we did not look like hair dryer types and you certainly need to understand that this is off the beaten and wifi track. But as a lakeside and jungle hideaway it was...

Our trip to Mis Casas was incredible. To begin with Kim picked us up from Pedro A Santos and greeted us with a couple of beers. As soon as we got to her home we felt the warmth and magic of the place. The amount of time and effort she has put into constructing Mis Casas is remarkable. We loved...
