We stayed 5 nights as part of a group visiting WW2 sites so we did a bit of walking in the area which is glorious. We ate breakfast and evening meal here every day and the food was excellent and varied, all local specialties. The fattoria has huge charm, the rooms are dotted around various buildings. It’s not super-modern so don’t expect the latest in interior decor. However everything works well, WiFi, good showers etc. The charm lies in the wonderful hosts, Willy and Titi, who look after you so well, and in the dogs, cats and horses on the property. Beautiful views too.
Booked this over internet as it looked so lovely, and it was, just bad we could only stay one night on our way to the airport. Dogs, horses and hens was welcoming us as well as the lovely host, would definitely come again.
We celebrated our anniversary here and the hosts were just fabulous! They ensured our stay was comfortable. This old country home has been renovated and the top room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. Loved the breakfast esp with the fresh eggs.
I've stayed at Cà di Fatino twice, and both times loved the very friendly welcome and atmosphere and the great home cooking (accompanied by splendid wines!). We tested Titti and Willy to the utmost by requiring extra transport, and losing a key and then a dog. They were kind, helpful and unflappable. The accommodation is very pleasant, traditional farmhouse. Highly recommended for a relaxing break and as a base to visit Florence and Bologna from.
A wonderfully cozy and welcoming B&B tucked on the slope of a picturesque valley. Very clean, very comfy and very tasty: great breakfast eggs from their free tanging chickens. Warm & lovely hosts. Highly recommended for more than one night. Pleasant walks all around and a very good local restaurant very close by that serves excellent, inexpensive local dishes.
