Detailed Reviews

We decide to spend a weekend away from the noise of the city and while looking for a place that suits us we come across the Agriturismo Rupestr. Intrigued, we ask for information and book. The site represents the place in detail and in response to our email we receive many details that literally make our eyes widen.
We arrive and the first person we meet is Mr Giorgio. The owner. I don't know... things that rarely happen, I already feel in tune. A greeting, a few words and we introduce ourselves to settle down.
The location literally left me speechless: in the greenery, a very well-kept country structure both inside and in the enormous outdoor spaces, among the vineyards. Much attention has been given to details, both in the furnishings, with details that make the difference and very refined, antique furnishings. In fact, the furniture is of great value, including the hand-inlaid wooden sideboards, wardrobes and sideboards, an exceptional thing for those who, like me, love to go into detail. The place is very clean, sanitized, all services functional and accessible. A tour through the vineyards and vegetable gardens, where vegetables and fruits, kiwis, courgettes, spices are grown... a scent of nature and an impressive tranquility.
The structure also has an outdoor swimming pool which I couldn't resist diving into.
Don't we want to talk about the table? All homemade, all with genuine and local products, the portions are satisfying, indeed... you leave the table full but not weighed down. The wines... well that's the area, there's no shortage of good wine, and Mr Giorgio's palate is fine, there are only excellent quality bottles.
The property is family-run, the owner and his children were perfect hosts. It's nice to eat and hang out with the owner who doesn't abandon his guests and really makes them feel at home.
Ah, compliments go to Giorgio, he did everything himself and created a great corner of Paradise. And despite so much, well-deserved success, he is also the one who brings food to your table and works actively for his company. A great example of humility and dedication. You can see, you can see a lot that he loves his job, that he cares about it, that he likes contact with people. You can see that his passion has overwhelmed him and he never stops, he is always looking for the best, but... and this struck me, not for himself but for his guests.
It was a wonderful discovery, which I not only recommend but where we will definitely return.
We couldn't help but leave without taking a small supply of the company's wines, we took home a bit of the aroma of the splendid weekend spent.
Thank you Giorgio for the welcome, the company, the warmth with which your family welcomed and entertained us. And congratulations on everything great he has managed to build over time. A dream come true.

+1
I won't use much words to recommend this place. Just take your campervan, drive to Rupestr, park it near the winefields (and spend the night), enjoy the wonderfull sixcourse meal, taste the wines and listen to one of Giorgio's stories. Simply lovely.

A truly wonderful experience to stay in Rupestr. We stayed there with our 10-month-old daughter and our dog, and felt completely welcome and at home. Giorgio and his son are very hospitable and the food is fantastic. Pure flavors that really come into their own, accompanied by a delicious wine, it couldn't be better. Very nice agriturismo in peace and quiet. Recommended!

I am shocked to read such positive and enthusiastic reviews from people because for my part I can only leave a negative review, if I could have given 0 as a rating I would have done so.
I'm starting from the assumption that I had booked for two nights but thanks to the Lord my husband had an unexpected work situation and we only stayed there one; in the room which was small to say the least (we were with a newborn who couldn't fit in the bed between us because it was queen-size) we barely managed to fit the pram in, while as far as the bathroom was concerned there was no equipment whatsoever (soap, detergent for washing) without considering the cleanliness which was non-existent.
Rude owner who, among other things, increased the price of the night when we paid because we had only stayed one instead of two (without telling me when we canceled the first night).
Imposed menu which among other things was nothing special so much so that we went up to the room hungry; the next day breakfast included very few things, including the cake from the night before.
I don't want to be excessive but even if you are satisfied this place has no added value other than the view, perhaps...

Experience not to be repeated. I strongly advise against it. Dirty rooms with cockroaches, cobwebs, spiders and various insects. Dirty pool. I went with the owner where they have fridges and freezers to get a bag of ice packs and I had to put them back. Food stored inappropriately. I believe that if the A.S.L did an inspection of the structure, it would close. I wonder why it is still open given that 2 months ago a lady was ill and even ended up in the emergency department.

We only came here for lunch on our way back home. Giorgio is fantastic, so many stories and experiences, the agriturismo is in an idyllic spot with a great view over the vineyards.
We had a wonderful time there and a great lunch.

We stayed at Agriturismo Rupestr for five nights and had a wonderful time. The meals were fantastic, the location is wonderful and Giorgio was a generous and jovial host which made our stay even more special. The room we had with a terrace was very comfortable. The location is great as well to explore the region. We hope to come back soon! Thank you to Giorgio and everyone else at the Agriturismo who made our stay perfect.

Classic and authentic agriturismo with a beautiful location and a view of the Alps. Simple, clean and well renovated rooms. Service, wine and evening menu were top notch and in large quantities. The owner Georgios widely shares his knowledge and historical stories and is always available. The area offers many exciting cities and attractions and, not least, beautiful nature.

We travel by campervan. Second visit for us. Again, a wonderful and warm welcome by Giorgio and the family. We ate at the restaurant and spent the night in our campervan. Excellent food and wines and great surroundings. You really have to check this place out. You won't regret it.

Fantastic fresh ingredients, many from their own land and excellent cooking true to the traditions of Piedmonte, along with a selection of simple but great Rupestr wines made this a special dining experience. Also the warm welcome from Giorgio, and Enrico’s enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and the Rupestr story, and all after a long harvest day, made for a very memorable time with our family.
