The breakfast served in the bar next door (also owned by the same owner) is also good and the internal parking is very convenient. We loved our stay here. The rooms are huge by any standard, not just the EU. Very friendly staff and owners. They do not speak much English, and we speak even less Italian. Despite the language barrier, the owner was able to accommodate my wife's dietary restrictions for breakfast. They are very kind people with a cute little place that is right in the center of things. Very affordable, yet you get far more than you pay for. Highly suggest checking them out.

The Villa Chiara hotel, 7 rooms, is family run, Mamma the kitchen, Dad housekeeping, son and daughter reception, reservation etc. Rooms are spacious, well decorated and cozy, with free wi-fi and A/C
Breakfast is served in the adjoining Torino bar which belongs to the family. Service is excellent, friendly., the hotel is located in the center of Canelli and is excellent value for money.

My family and I make a point of staying at Villa Chiara Hotel. We are never let down. The staff are amazing and go out of their way to accomodate you. The restauraunt has divine food! Also it's in the heart of town so everything you need is at your doorstep. Great price aswell, we stayed for two weeks. (Also the next-door neighbours have some kittens, they live in the house adjoining the hotel carpark, they won't let you pat them but they are VERY CUTE! Heads up for the cat lovers).

we randomly picked this hotel because of location and the fact that had air conditioning, it turned out to be a better location than we expected, centrally located parking spot right in the hotel, easy to find, breakfast was served in the piazza next to the hotel under beautiful aged trees. It was a hot summer weekend, it is close to hike up to the top of the city to see the churches and recommend visiting osteria d'la Sternia di Marco Rolano on via villanuova, 4/6 14053 Canelli, I kept their card as would like to visit again and the meals were fantastic fresh rustic. There is a restaurant on the first floor of the restaurant only for dinner and you should book in advance, it is popular by the locals, we could not get a seat that night! Enjoy!

Nice hotel with big rooms in the centre of Canelli. Clean, quite, but hot. Our rooms were located on the last floor just under the roof. Air-conditioning was helping only slightly, but I have to admit that temperatures during the day were reaching 38-39 Celsius (even Italians were saying it is too hot).

We enjoyed our spacious, comfortable one-night stay at this little albergo in the center of Canelli, a World Heritage Site. Our breakfast, at the hotel-owned Caffe Torino, was great. Wonderfully tasty cornetto with marmalatta, good capuccino and very friendly staff.

The hotel is in a good location in the centre of Canelli, with a free car park. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. They have a superb restaurant which is open for dinner Thursday to Sunday. It's a fantastic base for the Wine Festival in September as everything is within walking distance. the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Only stayed for 1 night on business, building and room had great character. Plenty of space, very good plumbing etc. I look forward to returning for pleasure.
