This was one of the loveliest places we stayed in on the via francigena. The hostess is just lovely. She made our group of 9 a delicious 3 course meal (we were there 2 nights). It was very reasonably priced, and absolutely delicious. The rooms were clean and lovely, and breakfast was great. Can't say enough about how wonderful this...

My husband and I are walking the Via Francigena and expect to reach Rome at the end of October. We started in Bourg St Pierre on August 22 and have staying in 22 establishments so far. We have spend the last two nights in a bed and breakfast in Berceto, La Casa dei Nonni, and want to spread the word...

La Casa dei Nonni is an old townhouse on a quiet street near the Duomo. Rooms are up a stone staircase, and are generous in size. Our room had a double and a single bed, and a had clearly been designed to be accessible: it had the highest toilet I have ever sat on, a shower seat, a shower curtain,...

What a lovely place in a lovely town! La Casa dei Nonni was most welcoming and we felt welcomed. The room we had was large, fresh, clean and uncluttered with a lovely balcony with shutters and potted geraniums to brighten the space. All you needed, plus excellent reception of the free WiFi. We choose to dine in and were not...

We are currently staying here (3 nights) and sadly leaving tomorrow. This apartment is fantastic. At first when we entered, we thought it was a common breakfast and meeting area for guests, as Pasquale was showing us all that was included (food etc) for our stay. We thought this was to be shared with others!! The apartment is immaculately clean...

Our son's friend Claudia recommended this charming B&B for our visit to Berceto, my husbands hometown where he was born. We were greeted by Llaria the owner who speaks English very well. The room was very clean and nicely decorated with free wifi. Breakfast was wonderful with homemade delicious tortes, cakes, yogurts, fresh fruits and other delightful treats. Llaria was...

We didn't have a reservation as we were walking on the via francigena. We approached Berceto from the mountainside and came across Il casa die nonni by chance. We were greeted by Ilaria the owner (who speaks English quite well) fortunately she had a room available. The room was spacious clean and nicely decorated with a good sized bathroom and...
