Wild Spirit is literally home away from home! we visited Wild Spirit via the Baz Bus and absolutely loved the vibe! The forest as the backyard, people sitting around the fire jamming to a guitar, vintage cars and the cottages were the coolest. The backpackers located in a central spot which makes it accessible to most of the cool activities...

I love Wild Spirit! I went 3 or 4 times already and it's always a great experience! Their property is huge, you even have hike to do inside their backpackers: don't miss the hike to the waterfall, which is easy and really beautiful! They also provide shuttle to go to Nature's Valley and the hike going to the beach and...

This place is amazing. Very special place hidden in the middle of the woods. I stayed here twice. Great people and great food too. If you travel around South Africa don't miss this place. I have recommended to many friends and they all loved it.

As the title suggests; loooooooots of hippies. But, amongst all the vegetarians and vegans, I met none that fit the pushy, over-bearing stereotype. They were all kind and understanding that I chose to consume meat. The lodge is really nifty, set up out in the forest with dorms, private rooms, tents, kitchen and restaurant options, live music (occasionally), good wifi...

The lodge is beautifully set on the edges of Nature's Valley and offers spectacular views. Both the lodge itself and the outside area are beautfully decorated and you can see that someone did it with love - someone that really cares for that place. There is plenty of space for BBQs, camp fires, a romantic tree house and opportunities to...

I am so amazed by this place! It feels like a treehouse and everyone is really nice and helpful and even though I only stayed 24 hours I enjoyed it a lot. Especially the food is worth mentioning! When they ask if you want to have dinner and breakfast there, please say yes! It's awesome!

I can see why people stay here and then decide to go back and volunteer and stay longer. I wish I could. I am really struggling to get back into every-day city life after just a 2 day stay at this astonishingly special place. Over and above the incredible atmosphere, scenic beauty and the views, management and staff were also...

Located right on the western tip of the Tsitsikamma National Park, it is literally in the heart of the Garden Route, between Plettenberg Bay and Storm's River. Close to Nature's Valley beach and lagoon this eco-friendly open-minded backpackers is surrounded by indigenous forests with blissful views over the valleys and mountains - the ultimate place to come and relax. If you manage to tear yourself away from the beauty of the lodge then there are various animal sanctuaries nearby including elephants, big cats, birds and monkeys, as well as local horse-rides and a great farm stall to pick up some lunch. Nearby Nature's Valley is ideal for nature lovers with walks and hikes in all directions, and is one of the most pristine beaches on the Garden Route.
