We have just returned from our latest holiday with Rostrevor Holidays. We have been every year since 2006 and are looking forward to our next trip already. The location is amazing both at Rostrevor Holidays and in the surrounding area. So much to do. We are still finding new things to see and do. The Baxter family are so welcoming...

I've stayed in several of the cottages and two of the houses (including the newest one). I've been coming here since 2002, and wish I could come every summer. The location is peaceful and beautiful, the cottages are clean and well appointed, the hosts are just incredibly good and kind and attentive people, and the nearby hikes, walks, recreational opportunities,...

Excellent well equipped cottage. Great location for walking and mountain biking. We stayed in Leckan Beg which was a great size for a couple. Great that the cottage takes dogs they enjoyed the surrounding walks. Cottage was very clean. Only few minutes from Rostrevor. Great base to explore the Mourne area. Didi very friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault it.

We have returned for our third visit to rostrevor holidays, it is a family favourite. Our cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped as usual , plenty of outside activities for the kids in the grounds and a great base for exploring the beautiful surrounding area. Looking forward to our next visit already!

Thank you so much for your review Dave. I know you and the family absolutely love it here. The fact that you return and bring friends with you, and talk about it on social media, lets us know we're doing a good job. Excellent service from start to finish with rostrevor holidays. Great cottages so well equipped for all you need for a self catering break. Extremely accommodating for a big group of friends like us. We had a really brilliant stay in this idyllic spot and our children had the time of their lives..exploring together and playing in the grounds. Thank you...

Thank you so much for your kind review. Your group will really stand out in my mind with the children playing outside from dawn to dusk on their bikes, in the playground, and with all the assorted crafts and chalk drawings! I'm really sorry I missed out on the Easter egg hunt though! Hopefully we will see you again, I'm...

I stayed at Rostrevor Holidays for a month, while studying abroad with Westmont College. The owners of the Holiday Homes, Liam and Deedee made our stay absolutely delightful. Their hospitality is warm and genuine, and their enthusiasm for the activities on site is contagious. They host Ceili nights, which were a highlight during my stay, full of good music and...

The management at Rostrevor Holidays definitely went above and beyond to ensure that we had an excellent stay. Our cottage was fully equipped, quite clean, and boasted stellar views of the surrounding mountains. It's a bit of a walk into town, but there's plenty of hiking and biking trails nearby. Definitely perfect if you need to unwind/get away from the...

The proprietors of Rostrevor Holidays are one of its standout merits: they are kind, welcoming, accommodating, knowledgeable of the surrounding area (history, culture, nature) and are always available for a little chat. Our cottage was spacious, had a fully equipped, fully stocked modern kitchen, was extremely clean, well decorated, comfortable and pleasant to be in for three weeks. The surrounding...

Thank you so much for your lovely comments - some great tips in there as well for future guests! I love the surrounding area of Rostrevor Holidays, and especially the Yellow Water Nature Trail on site, so it always pleases me to see guests out enjoying and exploring it! Thanks again, Didi

I stayed here with a school group and absolutely loved it. The cottages are updated and very comfortable. The surrounding landscape is gorgeous, and the management went out of their way to make sure we had a great time (even arranging to order tennis racquets, road bikes, and basketballs for us). The cottages are also very close to some exhilarating...

Thanks for your review - love the tip about the Clough Mor Inn - definitely worth paying a visit to since it was transformed with a makeover this year. There is a great choice of pubs in Rostrevor, with lots of live music too. Thanks again, Didi

“Rooms have everything you would need including something called a washing machine, tumbledrier, iron and board etc :-) The kitchen has a dishwasher and all other appliances you would need. We stayed in the Ceili house which was a great size and as clean as you would want in your own place. (Also met the cleaner, who was a wee star and a lovely lady, nothing was too much trouble for her)”
