Uracca is by far one of the best vacation experiences my husband and I have ever had. Delicious balanced fresh seafood meals, water so clear u can see the coral from your porch. Francine is so hospitable and part of the community there. Also the monkeys are a special experience and it is so cool being able to interact with...

If you are looking for the perfect vacation, Urraca private island is the place!!! I was dreaming to visit the Maldives islands but not anymore. Urraca private island is an extraordinary, peaceful, private, beautiful and relaxing place! I've been there with my boyfriend for 2 nights and we've enjoyed every moment ( I would recommend more than 2 nights though.)...

Everything from start to end makes Urraca an amazing getaway! The entire experience is worth the trip! Best, fresh food I ate in the entire country, the most relaxing place and magical sceneries. Night or day, you will be amazed. Phosphorescent waters glowing around the bungalows at night are breathtaking. Easy access by boat from Bocas Del Toro. A lot...

I spent 2 1/2 months at Urraca Private Island and I thorougly enjoyed it. The place is magnificant, the monkeys are funny and entertaining and Francine, the owner, is a very inspiring and lovely person. My plan was to volunteer only for a week or so at Francine's place but I completely fell in love with the place and the...

We stayed here four days as part of our honeymoon. We couldn't have chosen a better location! Its simply a paradise. The island isn't really an insland. It's five cabanas built on a mangrove area. The next island is about 10 minutes away. Each cabana has a shower on the terrace and has a private feel. Francine's hospitality and food...

Françine takes care of nine monkeys, three différent species and holdes a little hotel in the middle of the mangroves. The rooms are very nice decorated and a stay in this hotel will remind for ever in your memory. You can easily reach the island from Bocas del Toro or any small island or hotel you stay around Bocas del...

I don’t have the proper words to convey how enjoyable our trip was, in large part, thanks to you. To describe your paradise as enchanting or magical sells it short...it’s much, much more. You have brought a positive energy & boundless spirit to the EcoLodge that cannot be adequately described to others. You always had a smile, you always had...

We just came back from this magical place. Me and a group of friends spent two nights with francine and her monkeys. The place is just beautiful, super relaxing and the perfect place to sneak away for a couple of nights. Francine and her team are extremely service orientated, friendly and generous. The food was excellent, dinner definitely exceeded my...

I can't begin to describe how wonderful this little piece of paradise is. Francine has built a space that many only dream of. Holistic in its concept and design, Urraca is nestled within a mangrove almost as though the two exist harmoniously. Everything from the cuisine to the loving and playful animals make this an unforgettable destination. Elisia and Ovaldina...

We stayed on Urraca Island for 3 nights, it was a fantastic treat! Francine and her team were very friendly and relaxed. The place is a little dream with only 4 cabines with Oceanview exterior shower. You can swim or kanoe in the water surrounding the small mangrove Island, go out to visit a cave (challenging), go fishing and snorkling,...
