I loved this elegant(by Nicaraguan standards) restaurant. The staff was so professional and polite, and the food was absolutely delicious, I recommend a stay at the hotel and the food which is the highlight. The rooms are lovely as well but Jinotega does not have very many great restaurants so the food and professionalism is what are the biggest draws.

By North American standards, this is a 1960's style motel. However, in this small city, it is one of the most comfortable hotel accommodations. Rooms are relatively small with spartan decoration. The shower worked fine, with lots of hot water and water pressure. The beds were only double-sized but very comfortable. Staff was friendly. Wifi worked well and the included...

One of my favorite hotels. The rooms are bright, beautiful, and full of character, not to mention they are thoroughly cleaned every day. TV gets many channels and is the biggest we had in any room throughout our stay in Nicaragua. Bathroom is relatively large. Front desk staff were amazingly helpful in telling us about potential activities and sights in...

We ate lunch here during a visit to Jinotega. The food was excellent. Steak was so tender you could cut with a butter knife. The staff were wonderful. Bathrooms were clean. Courtyard was beautiful. I did not see the rooms, but if the restaurant and court are any indicators, I'm sure they were nice too! I highly recommend the food!

Hotel Cafe is a perfect choice for anyone staying in Jinogega. It was exactly what I wanted. Clean, comfortable, hot shower, great food and drink and a very friendly staff. It offers everything you need. It also has a private parking garage. This is a boutique hotel in an area of the country that lacks quality accommodations.

I have had the opportunity to travel on multiple continents and stay at a variety of privately owned hotels and inns. Sometimes I am disappointed and cannot wait to leave but on other times I am pleasantly surprised and find myself feeling very comfortable and at home. My recent stay at the Hotel Cafe, was one of those very pleasant...

A whole team of us stayed for a week during a missionary building trip. This was an awesome place after a long day. Very clean, nice rooms. Excellent, helpful staff. Food was very good, though it is also a quick walk to several local restaurants. It felt very safe. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The smallish entrance opens up to gorgeous interior courtyards and very quiet, clean, comfortable rooms. All rooms open to the outside and early risers are greeted by magnificent sunrise views over the mountains. Comfortable beds, very good breakfast and ac unit worked so well I was freezing by morning;) Very good shower with bottled water and amenities offered in room.

This was our first trip to Jinotega and we were looking for a comfortable, safe and pleasant place to stay. This fit the bill. The restaurant's food was well above average. But what sets Hotel Café apart is the quality of their staff. Everyone we met went out of their way to make us comfortable. They were responsive, pleasant and...

We enjoyed this small hotel that was quaint, clean, and comfortable. It was quiet around the interior courtyard. A traditional Nicaraguan breakfast was included. The staff was attentive and helpful. Our tour group was treated to a traditional Nicaraguan dance performance by local children in the lobby area the evening of our stay.
