Myself and my partner were here to go on the overnight Doubtful Sound cruise. We were made very welcome after a long motorbike ride! Great room, fantastic view. Very very friendly and helpful hosts! Even allowed us to store our motorbikes in their own garage while we were on the cruise which helped us out so much as were very...

We booked into Cathedral Peaks to be on the doorstep for our Doubtful Sound cruise. However, it really delivered, and we were very pleased to be returning there after our wonderful cruise. It is close to a bar that serves excellent pub meals and has delightful views over Lake Manapouri. The breakfast was excellent - cooked but with homemade muffins...

We stayed at Manapouri as a starting point for our drive up to the Mildford sound - and it is really a handy location for the wonderful 2.5 hours drive. The house is well located right at the waterfront and easy to find. We stayed in one of the downstairs rooms next to the living room area of the guests....

On arrival, Janice was quite confused, as she had forgotten to write down our booking. No problem, within minutes she had everything organised and we got a very big and nice room. Next morning at breakfast we found a very nice table with an overload of food and then Janice asked us if we wanted a cooked one. jAnice is...

Yes I was a little on confused on your arrival but not because I had not booked you in on the right day, but only because in my mind I was a day out, your booking was at all times written in and secure. I am pleased you enjoyed you stay. Janie

Janice and Neal are great hosts, we enjoyed our two nights at the B&B, had excellent continental and cooked breakfasts - and a great view on the lake in the morning. What else can you ask for?! Next time I'ld opt for a room on the ground floor, so.

This is a great B&B and Janice made us most welcome. The view over Lake Manapouri is fantastic from the downstairs rooms, a little muted from upstairs but a great view of Cathedral Peaks to compensate. The rooms, (we came back for a second night after a cruise) have all you could wish but may be a little warm in...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cathedral Peaks B&B, the view from the bedrooms and sitting room were amazing! Janice was very helpful in offering us advice of activities we could do, and we were not disappointed by any of them. Despite having an early drive up to Milford Sound, Janice was still willing to make us breakfast and...

We had the pleasure of staying here over New Year 2014 and it is one of the best B&B's we have stayed in, not just in NZ! The room we had was in the ground floor with breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. The facilities were top quality and the service and breakfast provided by Janice were 1st class....

Thank you for your lovely review. I also still enjoy the lake and mountain views and I do enjoy breakfast time when I have a little time to catch up with my guest and find out what you all are doing for the day and try to help you in any why I can. Manapouri indeed is a small quiet...
