Somewhat out of the way in Manapouri, NZ, the two cottages are gigantic in size. Literally a two bedroom home with spacious living room, dining room & kitchen, the cottages are immaculate. Well worth the drive if you are considering Doubtful or Milford sounds. Great hosts too!

What a great review. Thank you. The cottages grow on the inside I think. They don't look that big outside. Pleased you enjoyed your time here and hope we can have you stay again sometime. Janice and Zeb

Zeb and Janice were so accommodating, gave us pointers and directions, WIFI, even lend us their book about the birds of NZ. The house was really clean and comfortable. There was a laundry machine, TV, magazines, dining table, spotless sink, fridge, etc. I even found a box filled with children's toys and books. The views from the house were amazing!...

We stayed in one of the two 2 bedroomed cottages on Zeb and Janice's farmlet. They were spotlessly clean, as new, and had everything one needed. They weren't too close to the house but close enough if you needed anything. It was great to have a generous 500mb free wifi x 2 & more if one needed it. (More generous...

Stunning Views in a great location for access to Manapouri or even the close by Te Anau attractions. We stayed just the one night in preparation for our cruise of Doubtful sound. Great hosts - remember to bring your breakfast supplies. The cottage has everything you need to prepare your feast.

We decided on the 8am Doubtful Sound cruise, so it was practical to stay somewhere nearby instead of Te Anau (20 mins away). And after 1 week traveling, it's good to be able to do your laundry. The cottage has 2 rooms (1 with queen beds do another with 2 single beds) and shared bathroom, kitchen & cooking utensils, dinning...

Beautifully appointed and situated cottages with everything you could possibly need, including washing machine and portions of powder, air conditioning, wi-fi in generous amounts, fantastic views with deer in the paddock next door keeping us entertained. Quiet and peaceful, easy to find, convenient to Manapuri. And daily housekeeping as required.

You could not fault this accommodation. A lot of thought gone into supplying what a traveller needs. Roomy, sunny, quiet, with a lovely view out to the Mts. We were able to catch up with Laundry and dry it "outside" in the sun, as stayed 2 nights, taking in a day trip to Doubtful Sound. No rush to check out,...

Hi there folks. Apologies for not responding to your fantastic review sooner. Somehow it got lost in our system. Janice and I are really pleased you had a good stay and hope you are able to come and stay again sometime. Kind regards Zeb

Our EVERY need was catered for. I have never stayed anywhere where such careful consideration has gone into the preparation of accommodation. We stayed 1 night before an overnight Doubtful Sound cruise - 2 families of 5. Zeb graciously allowed us late checkout. Each cottage has its own washing machine (washing powder provided) and dryer so caught up on lots...

Very very well presented and tidy cottage. Perfect base for family's. Excellent wheelchair access cottage with ramp, wide doors, wet area shower and large bathroom. Have been before and will visit again. Had a great trip to monowai and over the Borland pass

Loved the Stella Burn cottage. Was very cozy, temperature was very comfortable inside even when chilly outside (unlike other rather drafty places we've stayed in New Zealand). Neighborhood was quite peaceful, and we enjoyed watching a beautiful sunrise out the kitchen window. Kitchen had everything needed for dining in, convenient to have washer (and dryer) in cottage, and everything was...

Thank you for the great review. If you are able to get back sometime would be great. Manapouri and Fiordland have so much to offer and sometimes people are in to much of a hurry. We hope the rest of your travels in NZ went or are still going well. All the best Zeb and Janicel
