Not my best choice of venue. Have no plans to return. A cheap room rate, though rather unpleasant smell of bleach permeated the noisy, roadside room. Bathroom ceiling covered in black mould - most unpleasant. Continental breakfast for £5 was poor value for money - toast, cheap coffee and cereal. The garage nearby serves a much more appealing breakfast.

Stayed for one night whilst at a conference. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. Appearances are a bit dated but for the price... what do you expect? Very friendly owners with great banter! Got involved in their pub quiz and they even came around and gave us hints as the majority of the questions were based on events/ music...

I stayed at this place to visit with family in Bolton. The location is handy and you have easy access to main roads and slip roads. The place itself is very dated. Unfortunately, I didn't book this, my sister in law did the booking and so when I turned up, I was quite surprised. Unfortunately, not in a good way....

I was booked into this hotel as it is the only hotel near my Mum's house down the road. I came and simply didn't know what to expect. Well when I arrived I couldn't help but laugh. The place reminds of Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights! Whilst I was checking in the band were doing a sound check in the function...

Stayed 1 night at the Mercury, 1 double, 1 triple room. The double was newly refurbished, the triple unfortunately smelled of damp, had various cracks in the ceiling and had a very unfortunate bathroom with 1970's suite, wobbly bath and clingy shower curtain! The hotel has a function room attached where for £1 we could have been entertained by a...

There were no wifi signals in my room. The entire place looks old and dilapidated, although room was nice and clean with towels provided. Very nice and friendly staff. Place is a bit far from center so choose this place only if you dont have any other option.

Such a welcoming place to stay, staff are wonderful as are the owners. Love it, love it, love it. I have been to many hotels, motels, and B&B's over the years and I honestly don't think you could have a warmer welcome.
