Our stay at the Hostel Bahia Del Paraiso was great! The beds were very comfortable and it was easy to checked in and settled. The view from the Hostel was gorgeous and was in a great location since we were traveling between cities. I recommend it as a great place to stay especially if you are going to El Yunque...

Great place to stay. Period. Josue and Dawn, the owners, are very sweet people. Friendly, fun, and helpful. Very knowledgeable about the island with endless patience for the rather screwy experience most visitors have with navigating Puerto Rico. They have no trouble giving the exact same directions over and over again, they understand it's confusing! The hostel itself is well...

Dawn and josue really have a good thing going. From the balcony of the hostel you can watch Pelicans dive for fish all day and in the evening watch the sunset right over the water and mountains. The beds are comfortable, the town is precious (we especially enjoyed playing pool at the eccentric "la copita rota", with it's art covered...

I stayed here for three nights and had such a wonderful experience. It felt more like being a guest in someone's home than being in a hostel. The owners, Dawn and Josue, were so incredibly helpful and hospitable. By the end of my stay, it felt like they were friends. Comfortable beds, clean place, balcony overlooking the ocean, nice living...

Introduction to the place was don't be careful with the stove, only one burner works. The electric was out in part of the place for part of the time. A small leak in ceiling over the main hallway. The owners will do their best to make you feel at home. If you are young and like to get drunk and...

At the time this guest was here. we had the original stove/oven that came with the house. It was causing a short in the electrical system and has since been resolved. Shortly after this guest left we upgraded to a new 6 burner gas stove, so even if the power is out, you can still cook. There IS a beach...

I've just got back from two weeks back packing Puerto Rico and can report that Hostel Bahia Del Paraiso is a great place to stay and Naguabo a brilliant place to stop on a round island (or one off) trip. Hostel is clean, had great views and is nearby some really cheap, yet brilliant bars and restaurants, which made a...

I feel in love with Naguabo because of this hostel. The people, the culture, the music and the overall environment of Naguabo is something to behold and experience on its own account. But with Dawn and Jose giving us the insider information and practically being our tourguides, made our experiecne extremely unique and unforgettable (as chessy and lame as that...

I was hesitant on staying in a hostel instead of a hotel but now I'm ready to give others a try. I really appreciated the help and local knowledge of the things to do around the area. Josue is a great tour guide and full of information about the island and the town. The place is very clean and the...
