We were travelig with a baby. We were given a baby cot to set up ourselves. No sheets were provided at all. Luckily, we had brought all we needed. There was absolutely no service or help. We had to wait outside for two hours to be allowed in - and it turned out that the door to our room had...

Don't stay at this B&B - the manager is very rude and made one of the guests cry for using the wrong sheet for her child. The manager was very difficult to contact by phone and only responded to email. The guests were from aboard and had arrived by taxi about 10 minutes after the checkin time and were made...

I booked this place as a break away in the countryside. BIG MISTAKE. awful customer service so rude and belittling. Made me feel like an intruder rather than a paying guest. Will never return and make sure my friend and family never either!

For £90 there really must be better places than this to go to. The staff are clearly not interested in proving a welcoming guest experience and it shows. I have never been a guest and feel like an inconvenience. The room I was in was incredibly small and was clearly done on a budget. Breakfast was the most meagre portion...

Have never felt so unwelcome as I did when me and my family had a weekend stay in april 2017 at the Brownlow. There was absolutely no service - the rooms didnt get a clean. The breakfast was really small with no refill. After two stressfull days the landlady yelled at me after we checked out for using the extra...

When the first words after "hello" are "can I take your credit card" it never gives a warm and welcoming impression. The rooms at this B&B are large and the original design was done with care. However the faults that we found were: rooms, particularly the tiled floors, were cold even though the weather was not particularly harsh, the breakfast...

We booked The Brownlow for Friday and Saturday night. As family were coming from far and wide and we wanted us all to stay in the same place, we reserved all the rooms. We were looked after by Debby and Karina, who were brilliant. We had cooked breakfasts for 19 on the two mornings, which were copious and really good;...

We recently fully booked out the whole B&B for a family get together of 15 adults and four small children. Initially concerned about the proximity of the canal, this proved only a minor distraction for the little ones - who were kept busy with the swans, dogs, boats - and generally having the free run of the area! There is...

Absolutely lovely homely place to stay. The ladies that run it are very welcoming and friendly. I am staying here long term too as I work away from home. I would recommend here to everyone, in fact i do!

Had a great weekend here cycling and walking in The Chilterns and by the canal which is alongside the BnB. I was very impressed by the facilities, spacious and tasteful room with a lovely hot and powerful shower. Breakfast was excellent quality and the landlady made us some sumptuous packed lunches. The staff were extremely friendly and very flexible when...
