I was walking the SW Coastal path and it was a good place to stay. Very buzzy with a great position looking out to sea. The staff were very helpful but the bathroom was small, small and few toiletries and the bed was past its sell by date. Breakfast was poor with little choice, no fruit!!

We had meals 4 times over the 2wks we were in the area there was always something different on the specials board to try not the usual pub menu good local produce expertly cooked and so well presented always looked so apertsizing with generous portions, our dog was always made welcome, it's no wonder two of the stars of the... We had booked a restaurant table weeks before, so were surprised to have been bumped to a table in the bar next door. The food was wholesome, portions huge and there was a good selection of Cornish ales.

We ate here twice in the last ten days and the bar staff were pleasant and helpful, whilst the food was good and portions generous. But the best part is the view. Don't go on a misty day so as you miss the 300 degree view across the bay and the shipping in it. plus the stars houses on the... More

There's absolutely nothing wrong here. We had a great Sunday roast and ate great food midweek. It's clearly the local where everyone knows everyone - that said, as visitors we were warmly welcomed Lovely area - just near harbour. All recommended - am sure it will be absolutely heaving in the summer.

Room a bit small but comfy. Breakfast was included and was amazing, fresh, good variety and generous in size. We ate tea in the dining room, was very busy but food came in good time and was of excellent serving size, and tasted lovely. First impression was a bit sketchy but came through with service, atmosphere and quality expected with... More

Dirty glasses - terrible food - fish pie - but no fish in it. Glass of wine and lipstick around the rim...completely disappointing. See photo - fish pie was just potatoes!! What else can I say a be wary - eat across the road at the restaurant we ate at last night - much more enjoyable

You couldn't be closer to the sea staying in the Paris Hotel. It's literally right on the coast. So our view was pretty good. Everyone is friendly. The rooms are good, if maybe a little on the small side (but who cares, everything worked). Restaurant okay. Brekkie okay. No issue recommending this place if, like us, you are doing one... More

Visited this hotel on a walking holiday and was very disappointed. A busy barman showed us our bags still in hall, not put in our ever so tiny room that made a garden shed look generous. The restaurant was amazing attached to the pub and packed. Great food choice and very tasty. Took 30 minutes to come but was worth... More

We went there on 4 and 6 May. On 4 May we even joined in for the quiz night. It was good fun. We lost as we were Belgians and did not know many answers to the question but all in all we had a grand evening! Food is great: big portions. Deserts are absolutely criminal (very yummy). Good atmosphere... More
