First of all let's clear one thing, yes it is an annex to the hotel across the road but it is a stand alone hotel and a very good one at that. It does not have a restaurant but breakfast can be served in the room if you do not feel up to walking across the road. We arrived late...

The outside looks deceiving since the rooms have been nicely renovated and decorated. Wifi was excellent and the sea view rooms were lovely. The rooms were clean with a mini bar plus separate toilet/ shower, and a small balcony. There is a road between the hotel and the beach, but the traffic is minimal. A large parking area is located...

Les Vikings is a shabbier extension of the hotel opposite, the rather smarter L'Ocean. Breakfasts and dinner (inordinately priced, I suspect one is paying a premium for the, admittedly, splendid sea view) are served in L'Ocean which has two restaurants, the Bistro (pricey) and the main restaurant (very pricey). The room in Les Vikings was fine. Lovely sea view from...

We selected this hotel - above our normal daily budget - as it would be our only resting on our 3 week cycle trip to Bordeaux and it boasted good views on the cote sauvage. The room was spacious and the sea views stunning. Even from on our beds we could see the tide roll in and swallow the cliffs....

Don't be fooled by the tired exterior, the interior is modern, very clean with individually decorated rooms. Service was good and the reception staff amongst the best we have come across. The views are outstanding and it was so relaxing just to forget time and enjoy the Cote Sauvage below. Lovely walks all around and a short walk to the...

No restaurant, no bar, no breakfast onsite. Sheets and blankets, no duvet. WiFi access limited to one device and poor bandwidth at that. The room was traditionally furnished and the floor needed a clean. Water was also leaking under the bedroom window across the floor. The outside decor signals that this hotel has seen better days. The view from our...

Returning north through France, we sought a beautiful location and a hotel with a sea view. We got it here. Le Croisic is ideal. I want to live there permanently but then probably so does half of France. The Viking is actually a type of guest house annex to another hotel and it is located on the quieter side on...

I stayed with a group fellow artists for six days. My room had a balcony overlooking the sea which caught the afternoon sun. There was a mini bar, handy for chilling the wine we bought at the supermarket. Breakfast was not the best, we had to cross the road the restaurant, no one asked if we wanted anything cooked It...

The view this hotel has is amazing. You can sit for hours and enjoy the view. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The bedding was a little rough. Also, there are no options for eating food in and around the restaurant. You have to walk a lot to get food. Breakfast served was really nice. Staff was kind and extremely...

We stayed here for two nights in October and as it was a special occasion I booked the best room, overlooking the Atlantic. It was worth paying for as the view was sensational, really spectacular. The overall cleanliness of the room was very good, the fittings too, the bed was most comfortable, and the bathroom excellent with a shower and...
