I took my family here for my husbands 60 th birthday and once again excellent. unbeatable for atmosphere , service and lovely food. It really is the best place to go for a special meal in the area.. Not cheap but then you are having the very best quality.. The seabass is my favourite dish on the menu. The best...

My wife and I stayed in room one for two nights last month. The room is a good size with a fridge of which they put milk and juice in and next to the fridge there was boxes of cereals and fruit. It has a large TV and a comfortable chair to sit on. Nothing was too much trouble for...

Booked a table for a Christmas lunch for four people. Both the Meal and the service was very good. We had a nice welcome from all the staff. A really nice table for four in the corner of the restaurant. A good choice of dishes on the special set Christmas menu. We all went for a starter of prawns and...

We had two evening meals and both times the food and service were very good. A very busy bar and restaurant but very friendly staff. I recommend the sea bass which was delicious. It is better to book as its a very popular venue.

Booked a table for a busy night for our 20th anniversary and we had the choice of the bar area or the outside courtyard. The courtyard is split into pretty private areas with a range of seating styles and my wife and I enjoy the different character that offers, as well as the courtyard garden itself. We had a fantastic...

Oh dear. Screamed at to get out by the chef because we suggested the food was cold. Staff in fear of a very angry owner. Not a nice place at the moment. Such a shame as this was always a favourite place to go

Went here for a family meal, the service was great, the food was great and the setting is brilliant. The only thing I would say is that it is very loud in here and if you want a quiet meal or to talk it may not be ideal you kind of find yourself shouting over other tables

Gorgeous food! Lovely selection of drinks and desserts to die for! What else is there? It's on a beautiful canal. The inside is well maintained, gorgeous old 14 or 15th century farm house. the staff are very friendly, helpful with food suggestions and very attentive! The ambiance is warm and welcoming. Go relax, enjoy your meal with good friends and...

I stayed the night after finding this pub via Booking.com and decided that for £70 for the night it was worth a try. I stayed in room 1 as pictured and the room was done to a very high standard. The pub itself is lovely and the food was top drawer, however not much under £13. Staff were great and...
