Our stay was for 4 nights. Lovely chateau on the outside, but found the rooms a bit tired. The hotel is clearly loved by it's owner, so the care is there. Very small hotel staff, and they seemed quite overworked. The garden is nice, and the pool itself was very enjoyable although the pool area was quite mediocre. We had...

We spent three nights at Chateau de Noizay and, having done so, I can well understand many of the good reviews here. As the pictures of the frontage shows, it is very attractive and one can only be impressed by the grand staircase that rises from the front hall - particularly given the suits of armour on the landings. What's...

My trip to this region was for the history and the wine and this place delivered. It stays true to its original 16th century chateau structure (be careful on the stairs) and give the guest a wonderful hotel experience. My room was gorgeous, literally top to bottom, the food was outstanding, and the staff could not have been nicer. Book...

We spent one night at this beautiful chateau that instantly immerses you into the French countryside. There was beautiful views of the back garden and beyond from our bedroom window (photo attached), the room and bathroom were spotless and there was even a welcome gift! The restaurant for dinner was fantastic, don't miss the opportunity to dine here if you're...

Nice castle, staff helpful, but room too noisy. The children really enjoyed the swimming pool but it is a shame we couldn't had a drink around the pool. Also the room was really noisy because of washing machines!

The chateau stands in a nice location and the grounds are really pretty. Also the restaurant is really decorated nicely. However, there are many points at which the chateau is faltering. First, do not book any room in the watchtower. We had a rather expensive room with one very small window, old decoration and a bath where you could not...

We had a great stay at this lovely chateau. We had a large and very comfortable room with plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 children. The chateau has quite an intimate feeling, small enough to feel comfortable but still a very impressive and beautiful building. We particularly liked the library, where we sat playing chess before and after...

The property is stunning with lovely views and lots of character. The rooms are a good size with a comfortable bed and decent size bathroom. However there is a lot which lets it down. The water for our bath and shower in the evening was lukewarm at best (we reported it and it was fixed). The wall lights by the...
