Camping 5 mins away the RBH offers really nice pub food with a good selection of real ales. The hotels rival Cliffemount Hotel up the road is more expensive and I would say they food is not as nice, so certainly not worth the more expensive prices.

Whilst staying on the close by Runswick Bay Campsite, we used this place for a couple of beers and light bites whilst sat outside soaking up the sun or waiting for the Bus. Cracking pint of Bud and the other half loved your 'home made' cheesy chips. Friendly polite staff, Restraunt side looked modern and recent. Will use again. Cheers.

My wife and I recently stayed here for three nights and we're only sorry we didn't book for one night! The room we had was average, with shabby chic furnishings. Although we found the breakfasts pretty good, well cooked and served by very pleasant staff we were less happy with the food served in the evenings. One night my wife...

We visited this Hotel twice in the last week for an early evening meal and both times we were both incredibly impressed. We were greeted on arrival by the beautiful Ted, a chocolate Labrador with impeccable manners. The interior I think is undergoing refurbishment but to me it was looking good and the bar and restaurant areas all looked clean,...

A great find. Called in for lunch on an anniversary day out because we had heard it was dog-friendly. The hotel staff were really welcoming and definitely dog-friendly, happily accommodating the whims of the more neurotic of our dogs. Food was very good, served quickly but freshly cooked. Reasonable prices too. Very pleasant seating area with lots of space and...

I visited a few weeks ago for a family meal. The food was spot on, as was the service. The staff were very friendly and theres a nice selection of drinks available at the bar. What more do you need? I'll be returning again soon.

We enjoyed a lunch and drink here. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. There was a lovely resident labrador here, who gave me a grand welcome. Ideal for people on holiday with their dogs, as dogs are allowed inside.

Have been here a few times. Nice staff with good service. Food is very nice. Sometimes a bit inconsistent as the same dish is different sometimes when we visited. All in all a very nice restaurant. Works well as a pub to with plenty of drinks on offer. All regular beers etc with plenty of local ales and a good...
