we found the place to be very dirty and not pleasant. everything is falling apart and the blankets were very dirty. the breakfast was very awful. we did a group booking and wanted to book the whole place but there we other people. we paid for the pool,area but the pool was very dirty wee ended up not swimming

It's located in area that's crime infested despite its proximity to malls and commercial complexes. You have got to get a taxi to leave or arrive at the premise.And further more, the lady is so dishonest that she is not ashamed of increasing the rate as you are checking in. She is xenophobic and racist. One of the leader of...

I've been staying there since December 2012 each time I go to south Africa I go there ..its affordable and I feel safe....the driver takes you anywhere you want to go for a good package...the owner is a friendly person ...I recommend this place...especially for groups and people that goes for shopping ....

I found this guest house on the internet as i was looking for a place for my step son to spend a few nights while in Joburg.The manager Sheila was so friendly and very receptive.She organised a taxi to go and collect my step son from the airport and ensured he got a nice room.The rooms are large and fully...

I would not recommend the hotel at all...Rooms are filthy and dirt are swept and keep in corners...If you book for a rate then you get the surprise of your life..the lady will then increase the price...verify the prices of Taxis before you book transport with them as its cheaper most often.....Watch out for hanging lavatories and falling doors..Truly what...

I had a great time at Siyabonga Guest House.It was very homely and cosy,the rooms were well kept with adequate facilities i.e TV,refridgerator e.t.c.The bath and toilet were clean and matched surpassed standard requirement.The Manager was down to earth and helped in guiding me through city of Jo'burg.I hope to visit SA some other time and trust me,it would always...

The accommodation is average but the people who run the guesthouse are amazing... they picked us up and dropped us off wherever we needed to go and were so helpful. They made out first few nights in Johannesburg at the beginning of our trip to South Africa wonderful and gave us a great impression of the South African people.

Only parking is a tandem driveway so if someone wants to move their car you get a call at 12pm midnight to do so! Toilet concertina door held together with masking tape which had broken so we had NO privacy! Shower didnt work, toilet didnt flush properly, the fridge was filled with the food for the main kitche so they...
