Very nice stay in the Champagne region. Big garden with furniture where you can taste/drink champagne. Rooms were very rustic with nice wooden floors. Breakfast was very typical: a croissant with confiture, a boiled egg, ... I did miss a piece of French cheese though. Will definitely come again while passing through visiting my family in the south of France.

We stayed for 2 nights.. we were made very welcome, and had booked to have dinner on our first evening.. The meal was very good, with GB champagne served with every course. Xavier described each one, which was very informative.. The house was a lovely garden, which backs on to the canal. We walked into Ay, which was a lovely...

We stayed for 1 night in this characterful champagne house. Rooms are attractive and spacious. We had our picnic lunch on the day we arrived sitting in the sunshine in the lovely garden sharing a bottle of champagne. Perfect. Afterwards we enjoyed a very pleasant walk along the canal just beyond the house to the nearby village of Ay. We...

We recently stayed for 1 week at Champagne Guy Charbaut chambre d'hotes. It was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. We arrived late due to a missed train connection in Paris. We did phone Nathalie and Xavier to advise that we were late and they were most accommodating. Breakfast is served at 1 large table in the large...

We spent 2 nights in a double room. The room was very clean & adequate but small, our bed not great. There was no English TV to watch so the young marketing manager, who is most helpful an knowledgable with computers showed me how to get live television on my iPad, amazingly even one of our South African news stations...

We had one double, and one single room, at the beginning of our trip down to Provence. A really pleasant property, comfortable rooms plus a truely friendly welcome. Good food, and champagne. Lovely situation, overlooking the garden and a jade green canal. All delightful and highly recommended.

We stayed 2 nights on our first visit in Champagne. A perfect place to stay, close to all villages in the area. The first evening we had dinner together with 8 other guests and the Charbaut family. We got excellent food with different Champagne to all dishes. Great hospitality including a private Wine tour in their cellars.

We stayed one night on our way home from the south of France. The room (a studio) was spacious, with a relatively large bed. The bathroom was excellent: the shower was absolutely fantastic. The studio also contained a small and basic kitchenette. Room also had a flatscreen TV. Location is fabulous too, you are quite close to Epernay and while...
