I have led two groups to stay at the Chateau de Chatel-Chehery. The couple that owns this Bed and Breakfast are wonderful hosts. I have led a large group of over 20 soldiers to stay there. We toured the SGT York Trail and the WW1 Battlefield where Alvin C York earned his Medal of Honor during the Meuse-Argonne Campaign. The...

Our stay at the chateau was just right. The chateau was fairly easy to find and had views to die for...very quiet location and quaint area. The hosts were superb; they really made our stay most comfortable. The breakfast: the fresh croissants...delicious.

We stayed here on the first night of our holiday. This 18th century castle is in the remote village of Chéhéry in the French Ardennes. We were impressed by the beautiful castle and the view from the room and terrace, as far as you can see: green hills. Large pool in the garden. A very nice breakfast in the morning...

“There are two rooming options: 1. Chateau where you can enjoy 3 rooms with antiques and personal showers. 2. The group lodging area where there is a large dinning/meeting area and kitchen with 8 rooms lodging 2 to 6 per room and a common setting/TV area. The 8 rooms also have private bathrooms. Very comfortable either way you choose. There is a kitchen in the Group lodging area where our catered meal was prepared. None of my group had complaints.”
