Belgian run El Olivar is a quiet heaven in the dry backdrops of Malaga in Andalusia. Perfectly located in the triangle between Malaga, Granada en Cordoba it is a great spot to start your 'Andalusian discovery tour' with. The property is well build, set in olive groves as far as your eye can reach. The rooms are simple but clean...

We had a wonderful week and a half in late October staying at the Casa Rural El Olivar. The BnB was remote and located in the olive groves with a great view of beautiful Lake Iznajar. Breakfast was the typical Andalucian breakfast of jamons, bread, delicious olive oil, cheese, fruits, eggs, and cereals. It was a great way to start...

We spent a superb week in their casitas (self contained), very happy with the experience, friendly hosts, clean, well appointed and tastefully decorated, fantastic pool overlooking the lake. Iznajar itself is not much but it is nice to look at when you drive in, for shops we found the Mercadona supermarket @ 10km in Rute very good. Perfect for a...

We stayed in the Casa Rural El Olivar for 2 nights at the end of October 2006. Our rooms in this beautifully converted farmhouse were very nicely and cosily designed and furbished. Magnificent views on the surrounding hills planted with olive trees as far as the eye can see. Breakfast was amply composed; one can ask for an Andalusian breakfast...
