This hotel is the best hotel we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in quite a few. A family orientated resort with fantastic service. Rooms are cleaned daily and there is a wide range of breakfast options. (Tim mar win) or room maid on the seventh floor is an exception employee and is a credit to to the pamookoo resort. How room as been spotless and she is very attentive. Kindest regards. Our family.

Hotel's Favourite
Great place to stay! Everything is within walking distance - eateries, convenience stores, bus stops, night market, beach (technically, it's just across the road!), etc. The hotel's pool itself is quite impressive with 3 very high slides and lots of nooks and corners for kids to play. Food and beverage prices are similar to the ones just outside the hotel. So if you want a break from walking, you can just 'chill and relax' at the hotel. Thanks Pamookkoo for making ours a memorable stay!

Pretty decent location with lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance.. beach a little further of a walk if you have multiple young children. We had originally booked a family room but asked for a ground floor room at check in and was given to us which was nice being right by the pool with babies. I don’t think we would come back unless we had older teenagers as nights were really loud with multiple groups of kids running around screaming and jumping into the pool every night up until 12am with no control from the hotel even though the pool was closed. Originally booked this hotel for their facilities including the gym which I was unable to use just with the opening times and breastfed baby would’ve been nice to enjoy 24/7.

We stayed here for 5 nights and met friends who live in Thailand, there was abit of confusion at reception when checking in because they had given our room to our friend, despite my name being on the reservation. The family rooms are spacious, large showers, good aircon, mini bar, robes and pool towels provided. Free water, tea and coffee. We opted for breakfast which was absolute chaos, no one assigns seats and it was a battle every morning to get a table, which lets the hotel down. Breakfast was basic but offered something for everyone. All the staff were absolutely lovely and friendly, always smiling and joking. The housekeeping daily room clean was 10/10, our room would be cleaned by 11am everyday. The pool area could be a bit chaotic, the sunbeds are very worn and uncomfortable, these need updating. Also because of the shape of the hotel the pool area was a sun trap with little breeze, we found it to hot to sit by the pool for too long with the children. The hotel is a great location, bars, restaurants, shops and beach in walking distance. Karon Beach was 300baht in a tuktuk

Very poor reception service, Aya manager who speaks Russian language was very unprofessional and impolite. Never got poor service like that before in Thailand for last 4 years. When I asked her name she just ignored me and my friend, actually she was maybe in bad mood, but service staff should never show their bad vibe to the guests! I wouldn’t recommend your hotel again to any of my friends. Stay positive and don’t be so rude fir your GUESTS! 🙏🏻

The room was great, and the staff was ok. The pool was very good and it fits for both grownups and for the kids. The room was overall clean and pretty, but they didn’t change the sheets when it was dirty. The fitness center was good and the aircondition here was perfect. The food was a little overpriced.

Dear Customer, Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time for a review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay overall. We have noted your concerns about the sheets and food price. We normally change the bed sheets every 3rd night unless our guests advice us to. Our Room Attendants are always ready to listen to all guest requests including changing the bed sheets. Some items in the menu is priced reasonably, as we have mostly families and children. Our pizzas are 200 baht/net and buffet dinners at 359 baht to start off on some days. We will continue with offering food promotions as we hear your concern on this so guests can extend their budget, and maybe extended nights in Kata Beach, Phuket. We look forward to welcome you and your family again soon at Pamookkoo, where new adventures never end. Best regards, Glenn

We arrived at 9am and didn’t realize that check in was not till 3pm. But the lady at the reception(sorry didn’t get her name) was super helpful and explained she will do everything for us. We sat waiting and a lovely boy brought us a cold drink. Within 10 minutes our rooms were ready. She said she wanted us to be comfortable as she knew we had had suck a long journey. Our rooms were amazing. On the ground floor which I highly recommend. The hotel is huge and a lot of people. But it’s not packed and loud. It was such a lovely respectful hotel. Breakfast can get really busy if you go after 8.30am. And there is a good choice for everyone. Staff are honestly super friendly and lovely and will really go out of their way to help. The hotel is right in kata road and writhing 3 min walk to the beach. It’s an amazing location. Lots of parking available. The only problem I had was leaving this hotel and moving to another part of Phuket. Which we regretted. We will certainly be booking Pamookkoo again. I did email the hotel 4 times before arriving and never had a response. So that was the only downfall

Main attraction is the big fun pool with slides. Kids absolutely loved it and enjoyed. However, floor can get very slippery and parents MUST ensure their kids do not run and be safe. Saw a couple of kids slip and fell and bumped their heads. Not fun if injured during holiday. There’s a super dangerous sharp edge at the children’s water slide area. Management please bumper that area asap. It is a disaster area waiting to happen Rooms are spacious and cleanliness is good quality. Cleaned daily and with good standards. We stayed at the back end of the hotel and it was pleasant because it was quiet and private and not facing the pool. Breakfast spread was decent. Can’t complain. This resort seemed to be highly popular with Russian tourist, maybe 90%. It is definitely a family resort. Staff are pleasant and prompt when required. Called house keeping for simple requests and they responded promptly Kata area is pleasant. Food is repetitive and difficult to find quality food. 10-15 slow walk to kata beach which is not a problem at all
