I HAD A GREAT STAYING WITH THEM DURING MY VISIT TO PHUKET. THEIR MANAGEMENT ARE VERY HELPFUL AS I HAD LEFT MY CASH IN THE ROOM. MS ANCHALEE & MR GLENN FERRER WHO HELP ME ALL THE WAY FROM FINDING TILL RETURNING THE CASH TO ME. BOTH OF THEM ARE VERY HONEST AND RESPONSIBLE. I AM TRULY APPRECIATE FOR THEIR HELP. BESIDES, THEIR HOTEL ENVIRONMENT ARE VERY FAMILY FRIENDLY. ROOM ARE VERY CLEAN. FACILITIES IS GOOD. THEIR BREAKFAST IS GREAT AS WELL. MY KID LOVE THEIR ADVENTURE POOL VERY MUCH. WE ENJOYED STAYING IN PAMOOKKOO RESORT AND DEFINITELY WILL RETURN FOR STAYING WITH THEM IN FUTURE.

Dear Xanl2023, Thank you so so much for your kind review and for staying with us at Pamookkoo. We are more than happy to give all our best to all our guests, so we are glad to know that you have received the money in your country. Special thanks to Khun Anchalee and the Housekeeping team for following it up diligently and reporting to the management even after you have checked out. I also appreciate your comments on our services that can sometimes take a hit, because we said 'No' in requests that exceeds our ability. We are looking forward to welcome you and your family back soon. Best regards, Glenn

This is by far the worst hotel i have stayed in my life. Its hard to describe how dirty it is. We just arrived and we called room service but basically they only used a thai broom on the floor and this does not do anything. There was hair stuck, fingerprints, stains and drippings everywhere on the walls. Toilet was absolutely disgusting they have clearly never cleaned it. Room service only changes towels and beddings and use this thai broom, nothing else. The bed was so hard that sleeping on the floor was probably the same. The smell of humidity was unbearable. The pool area and the hotel in general is like abandoned, one day we forgot the pool towels in the hammocks around 6pm and the day after they were still there. No control or watch at all, guests behaving like animals in the water and people drinking alcohol they bought in the supermarkets in the pool area until 3am, impossible to sleep. The buffet breakfast was literally the jungle. Also they don’t clean chairs / tables. The smell in the lift was nauseous and there was brown dripping stains on the walls of it. They always forget to replace towels/ toilet paper/ coffee/ cleaning mugs etc. they mix soap with water and hand/ body/ shampoo are all same. No hair dryer. No will of working but always smiling and talking to each other.

Response from Glenn Ferrer, General Manager at Pamookkoo Resort
Responded 17 Feb 2023
Dear Eva_roman22, I am sorry about the experience you have had with us - based on your comments. It would have helped a lot if you have informed the managers or front desk staffs about your concerns - as we could have prevented or helped you with the issues you have mentioned - at least 9 out of 10. The one thing we could not have assisted in, was the behavior of our guests. Having fun in the pool and slides is our goal. We do inform guests that the pool close by 7 p.m. and that we treat the water every evening. I would like to know some areas in your comments that can benefit other guests who plan to stay with us; if the bedding is hard (many guests love the bed, better than sagging) we have a topper on request + we have hair dryer in all rooms (it is in the drawer in the closet) + Pool Towels are provided in all rooms and guests must bring it back to the room to be replaced + some guests leave the pool towels in the pool area as some comes back to swim more. We do our best to ensure the perfect holidays and absolute fun for all our guests - but any concerns has to be communicated to the managers or front desk staff for advise or for any follow up. Best regards, Glenn

We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Resort was the wrong choice for our family which was my bad. Resorts target market is Russian/European families with young children. We have travelled to Phuket over 20 times staying at a variety of resorts at all different price points and am fully aware of how the Thai level of service and cleanliness differs to back home in Australia. This resort was at a mid price point and I can honestly say that some of the resorts where I have paid a quarter of the price far exceed my expectations than here. The resort was at full capacity with guests (approx 1200) but after having a conversation with staff, staff was only at 30% of what was needed. This in turn caused a resort with terrible, extremely slow service, bars and restaurants either completely closed or closing early. Majority of the staff on duty (there were a couple of exceptions) were lazy and didn’t seem to care. We were even refused lunch service one day at 12.30 as this particular waitress had taken too many orders for the day! The resort was very dirty, again due to the lack of staff. Some common areas such as corridors, pool areas etc were not cleaned in the whole 10 days of us being here. Rooms were ok, very comfortable beds, dark and quite but again very badly cleaned, sheets never changed until I finally requested on day 7. Breakfast was ok Lunch was ok, quality of food was good, just slow. Took close to 2 hours onnumerous occasions just to get simple meals like a burger or fruit platter. I appreciate that it is difficult to find staff at the moment but perhaps management should not book the resort to full capacity when they don’t have the resources available to service it to the level that is expected and what customers have paid for.

Heaven for family traveller's with kids.. it was like Indian Jone Relived. Glenn and entire team ensured a comfortable stay. Front Desk staff always smiling and ready to help. Pools are the limelight of the show.. you might not feel the urge of hitting beach .. yes seriously. Proximity to all market things is at walking distances. All in all go for it and explore the adventurer within you !

Great place to stay with kids. Cindy who runs the kids club is fantastic; our children (6 & 4) adored her. The waterslides keep children entertained all day, the family rooms are well set up (with bunk beds). We will be back next year.

Great place to stay! Everything is within walking distance - eateries, convenience stores, bus stops, night market, beach (technically, it's just across the road!), etc. The hotel's pool itself is quite impressive with 3 very high slides and lots of nooks and corners for kids to play. Food and beverage prices are similar to the ones just outside the hotel. So if you want a break from walking, you can just 'chill and relax' at the hotel. Thanks Pamookkoo for making ours a memorable stay!

Honeymoon package decent I was looking everywhere to find reviews for the honeymoon package, but didn't find any. We took the chance anyways. I think the honeymoon package was worth it for the price. We found this on their main website under special offers. The staff had difficulty understanding what we wanted to ask regarding the package as their English is not so good. However, they reply to messages very fast and are eager to help. There is not option to add on the honeymoon package to a reservation from another hotel website like

Lots to love about this hotel. Family rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with bunk beds, a big balcony, and lots of thoughtful extras, like flip-flops and umbrellas. The location is good, about a five minute walk to Kata Beach, although lots of restaurants in the surrounding areas are still closed, and the area outside the hotel seems run-down. This didn't put us off our stay though, as the hotel itself was so great it didn't really matter. The main strength of the hotel is its pool area, which is huge, with a mini-waterpark and slides, plus a nice pool bar. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the breakfast, which was good but not excellent. I would have liked more of a continental style on offer - nuts, seeds, granolas, cold meats and cheeses etc. However, what was on offer was fine. We will definitely be back!

Dear Khun Bitiao2016, Thank you very much for staying with us and for your review and recommendations. Glad to know overall, that the holidays with us was well worth it and that we have a chance to welcome you and your family again soon. I have noted the areas that can be improved to get that extra star : ) The menus for breakfast differ from the peak season and off season due to the big difference in Room Rates. But we will do our best to add more in the buffet line for our valued guests. Take care and look forward to personaly welcome you back on your next trip to Phuket. Best regards, Glenn
