This is our second visit in the last few months and whilst on this second trip we've booked a third trip back to Kata Rocks in 6 weeks' time. The location is fantastic, all be it not right on the beach, however, it's either a 3min walk down the driveway to the beach or 1min buggy ride, either way, it is super convenient. The restaurant itself serves sensational food and is on par with the likes of The Boathouse and Mon Tri Kitchen, all located nearby. The staff and service at Kata Rocks is world class and we really can't fault anything. We've seen some subtle improvements from our last trip and I can't think of something even as constructive feedback to change. Oh, that's not true, ideally, they don't serve butter straight from the fridge at breakfast that hard and cold - so yes that's what they can Improve. The villas themselves have great size private pools, and plenty of space in the villas and always cleaned to perfection and again by wonderful staff. You'll get an amazing sunset every day. Very child-friendly however you'd be happy there as a couple or on honeymoon as you rarely see other guests anyway. What more could you want? *We had no plans to be in Phuket 3 times in a few months, but that's due to Kata Rocks and the team :) …

We spent 5 days at the Kata Rocks villa and it was the best holiday we ever had. The room was exceptionally beautiful, clean and spacious. To watch the sunset from our own pool overlooking the beach was something we never forget… All the staff ( reception, concierge, restaurant, bar, house keeping, the spa…) are all remarkably good at their jobs, they would go out of their way to make the guests happy..The food at the restaurant and the cocktails at the bar was excellent. We were scared of the buggy….flying up and down the hill at first but we love it at the end.. we will definitely come back and stay again. Thank you all for a wonderful holiday.

All in all my partner and I would definitely come back! The staff and service were 10/10 and I could not fault them! My only two small down sides to the villa would be that there were only 2 English movie channels provided when you want to relax and watch something a movie at night and have some down time and the same movie is played for 24 hours, and secondly there is a not a huge selection on the Western Menu front for dinner/lunches if you don't want Thai food. But we will definitely be back as the place/staff and service were second to none!! Loved every second!! Thank you!!

A very luxurious hotel with a brilliant view. Staff are exceptional, nothing was too much trouble! Close to shops, money exchanges and transport. Hotel was also able to arrange transport to anywhere you wanted to go. We stayed in a one bed ocean view loft (villa 502) which was on lower level, close to the restaurant, bar, spa and gym so only had to walk a few steps to everything and it was exceptionally quiet. You felt like you were the only ones there! Having your own infinity pool was a treat. Hotel supplied everything you needed for free each day including beer, cans of soft drink, sparking water, still water, fruit, peanuts and dried mango. You were given a phone to call reception 24/7 for whatever you might require whilst at the hotel or to call them if you needed something whist out and about. The phone also allowed you to make free international calls, how good is that!. It was magical sitting in the restaurant or bar at night watching the sunset. The food was always delicious and beautifully presented. Could not think of a better place to stay!…

Whilst the reception area is quite small and basic, it served it's purpose. We arrived before check-in time and were asked to wait while our room service was being completed. This was done within 10 minutes and we were driven/shown to our room well before 3pm check-in. Luggage arrived shortly after this. The room was amazing - all amenities and services were explained to us. We were in our pool by 2pm. The villa was stunning with magnificent views out to sea from within the villa and also the balcony area. The Club Lounge - which hosts all meals and bar service - was laid out beautifully. We sat and watched the first of many sunsets from there on our first night. The meal choices were fantastic, beautifully presented and reasonable sized servings. The staff were fantastic, always willing to please and service was great also. Drink prices whilst were higher than the street, they were no more than you would expect to pay in any bar resort. In our opinion they were reasonable. Our bedroom/bathroom was luxurious and comfortable. Buggy service is a great idea, but we didn't use it. Instead we chose to climb the walkways and make our own way to the street. We availed of the washing machine in our villa - great to catch-up as we had been elsewhere for 7 days prior. On the negative side - the private villa pool is 'private' in that it is for your use only, however, it is not 'private' from surrounding villas and their guests. Our only other negative is the number of 'Instagramers' who come to this restaurant on a nightly basis to take photos of themselves, ( with multiple changes of outfits ) their food and drinks at this amazing location, but with little/no regard for the guests and other patrons of the hotel. It has to be seen to be believed!! This was a very disappointing aspect of our time at Kata Rocks, and unfortunately something we will remember for a long time.…

We really enjoyed our dinner, the staff was amazing, in particular Max was exceptionally good - extremely professional, polite and caring. He honestly made our experience that good. Our only issue was the abundance of instagram people taking pics, we understand everyone wants to take a nice picture (ourselves included), but it would good of the staff to try to control those who are spending 20-30 minutes stood right next to our table and others with zero spacial awareness for those trying to enjoy a meal.

Stunning, beautiful setting, polite and attentive staff from front to back of the house. We were staying at 4 bedrooms villa and all bedroom got generous size with 2 bedroom with large ensuit bathroom. Universal sockets which i found it very convenient. From the first second to the last nothing to complain at all. Veey relaxing. Highly recommended it and can't wait to return.
