Absolutely amazing!!! This review is based on a stay in a Baray Villa suite at Sawasdee Village, which I will only describe as phenomenal!! The hotel grounds are beautiful and serene, but the grounds become even more ethereal, as there’s lights everywhere. You feel as if you’re walking in a sea of stars. The hotel grounds are bursting with vibes of relaxation. There 2 pools for all hotel guests and 1 that is only accessible to Baray Villa guests, but regardless of which pool, they were never crowded and you can always find a corner for some peaceful relaxation. This hotel is certainly one of my favorite hotels of all time.

This hotel is a complete gem - 10 mins walk to beach although they put on a hotel shuttle every hour to save you the bother. The staff are falling over to make sure your stay is happy. The resort twinkles and is like walking into a calm oasis of beautiful lights, lanterns and beautiful spa like music. Several pools although garden rooms can only use the main pool (best one with swim up bar). It’s incredible. It’s a 4 star and definitely meets this. Yes there are mosquitos but you are in Thailand. They are not in the room. I didn’t get bitten once. The spa is pricey but beautiful. Food is pretty standard and breakfast too. The rooms all modern cons including big fridge , waterfall shower is amazing (garden suite). stayed in a twin room with my sister - not massive rooms but perfect for us. Love this place. Well done Sawasdee staff for making this trip so amazing. …

This is the most magical and memorable Resort I have ever been to. It was absolutely amazing. The Decor and the garden and the pools and the waterfalls., the fairy lights and the decorations and the immense statues absolutely breathtaking. Beautiful by day and night. Don't stay in the garden view rooms. We saved up and paid a bit extra for the next room up where we could access the pool from our room. The pool is narrow and snakes around the resort under waterfalls and a bridge . Fairy lights in the bottom of the pool at night. It was a beautiful quiet room also full of fairy lights and enchanting atmosphere. The shower was huge with a massive rain shower right up high on the ceiling probably about 3m or 15 ft high. You could access the shower from the pool as well. Beautiful comfortable bed and the room service that we ordered at night occasionally, was prompt and fresh. The breakfast was also amazing cooked in front of you and they treated you very well. Thai people are very kind very considerate and very humble and we found the staff here even more so. We would love to get back to Thailand soon as we can and will definitely stay at this Resort again. We stayed at a few in Thailand, and none of them compared to Sawasadee. As you exit onto the street and turn right, there is a lady a few shops down who arranges tours, and she was very helpful and arranged a tour for us to go to the James Bond Island tour and also a snorkeling tour with lunch on Cat Island. Beautiful beach at Kata. Right down the southern end of the beach there's a little bar set into the cliff ..beautiful to sit there in the shade and watch everyone and choose your restaurant.…

We had the Baray Villa Number 214 our Terrace was directly by the Beautiful Pool Waterfall, Direct Access to the Baray Villa’s Private Pool, All Staff Are so Polite a d Helpful, The Spa is Ranked as in the Top 50 in the Whole of Thailand, it’s been a Nightmare Keeping the Wife and Daughter out of there😂 They have a Great Little Restaurant Next door which Delivers to the Room, All in All a Fantastic Serene Holiday. This place offers a Disney like experience. The decorations throughout the resort and room are over the top nice and take your stay to another level. Every corner of the resort has something different and new. The room was large and had nice amenities. The shower in the bathroom was amazing. I stayed in a room that was connected directly to the pool and it was amazing to be able to step right out of the shower into the pool and visa versa. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. My only nitpick about my room is that I could never get it cool enough. It was especially hot while I visited Thailand and at night I would sweat no matter how low I turned the air. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would consider staying here again under cooler circumstances.…

This place is unreal. Everyone is supremely nice, very clean, unique, incredible amenities, great breakfast, great room service, they made our trip awesome at Kata. The only problem might be you don’t want to leave the hotel to see anything else because the hotel is so great! Wish I could give 10 stars.

Sawasdee Village was a wonderful spot to stay amids hectic Kata beach traffic and in the heart of town. Beautiful air-conditioned rooms, with comfortable bed and Pillows and the Cabana pool room had its own private entrance to the pool. Quiet and serene atmosphere and friendly staff. Felt very well looked after and will highly recommend it to anyone with older kids or couples who are looking for tranquillity and relaxation.

This hotel is out of this world. There's a lot of plants, trees etc. Lights in the evening are stunning and overall design is superb, staff is very friendly and breakfast is very nice. You will want to come back.

This was an outstanding experience! I've visited a lot of hotels in various parts of the world. This was my best experience ever. Well, let's start from the beginning. We planned our family vacation (2 adults' and one 3 years old girl) at the end of COVID restrictions. We have ordered a villa. Our flight was changed by air company thus we had to adjust a preordered shuttle service . Short phone call to the hotel desk an all done fast and in friendly manner. I specially liked: "don't worry! we will pick you up no matter when you arrive, just let us know!" Arriving to the hotel we had a very welcomed check in with fresh juce, cold/worm towels. Our luggage was already delivered to your room . 100$ deposit was taken and we got it during our checkout . The apartment was amazing! First flour is dining room which has a jacuzzi, that is connected to a private pool. The private pool is connected to a hotels pool. There is a outdoor shower and rest area near the pool. The pool has a mountain view . Second flour has a master bedroom with a huge sized bed, a master bathroom with a big bath and shower area, closet with a beach-bags, towels and shoes. There are two small legs-washing baths near the bed. Breakfast is not very reach but tasty and tourist-oriented. The best indicator- we always found dishes for our little doughtier. The stuff is extraordinally friendly . Our doughter had a birthday during our stay and she got a birthday cake and Happy Birthday song by the restaurant stuff!!! That was so sweat! We have rented a car and the bellboy took care to save a parking lot for us. The hotel is the second line- not just on the beach, thus there is a shuttle that takes you to the beach every hour. Walk distance - 10-15 minutes. There are various shops and massage saloons around the hotel. 2 Bars, 7-11, day and night food markets. Diving center nearby. Tours can be reserved by the desktop stuff. The area was really calm and cozy. …

This was our second stay at Sawasdee Village, it's a simply stunning structure and the staff is amazing, we chose a beautiful cabana suite pool acces, we had breakfast that was included and it was fantastic and delicious. the two swimming pools are amazing,the whole property is well maintained, has manicured landscaping througtout the village and you have to see it at night when everything is lit up. totally recommended
