Nice premisses, breakfast and restaurant with dirty rooms and unprofessional & not customer oriented staff. I had the best room in the hotel and the most expensive due to the beautiful view from it and receive it dirty (the most disgusting I saw in my life- not sharing pictures or details due to the agreement I reached with the hotel). I Called 3 times the reception in one hour for someone to come and see/fix the problem. Until they agreed to compensate partially I was treated with lack of respect, as it was my fault that I received the room in that way (I was offered basic rooms in exchange for the premium price I initially paid or a compensation of a drink and 300baht, when the room per night was over 3000baht and it was almost impossible to sleep in as I found it). Also it was me who asked for a compensation, they didn’t come with initiative. The reason for which I write the review is the guy at the reception when I checked out who asked me again the part that was the compensation and even argued with me. When he realized the mistake he didn’t even apologize. Terrible experience.…

I stayed at the hotel that merges right now with the current property, named " Gallery By Katathani". I stayed there with my wife during our honeymoon. We got a nice room. Hotel stuff were very polite and always there for us. Quite nice view from the rooms and the rooftop. Nice pool, nice breakfast. Would recommend this hotel.

The hotel was big and had a nice view of the beaches. The room was really big and clean and the buffet breakfast was delicious with a lot of options. Very nice hotel to stay if looking for somewhere near the beaches. There’s also a shuttle that will take you to the beach.

The view from the hotel is exceptional and the pool areas are good. However, the internal of the hotel is very tired. Our room was not clean, there was dust and evidence of water damage throughout. This was compounded by non existent house keeping, in a six day stay the bed sheets and towels were not replaced and the trash was only emptied once. This was reported to the front desk who said they would report to management but nothing was done. If the hotel was properly maintained and had a good clean, if the staff were less sullen, then it could be considered the four star resort it claims to be but based on our experience, it is very far from that.

I would have given a 5-star review EXCEPT we had a situation with one of the rooms in which the onsite management team and members are fully aware of why we were very dissatisfied with the room incident. Other than the invasion of a rodent chipping away through the walls of one room, I must say the hotel and its beautiful amenities such as two pools, dining experience, and sea views are spectacular.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times and throughly enjoy it every time. The staff are wonderful, rooms super clean. Breakfast isn’t the most amazing spread but does the job. I will however say I feel that the hotel doesn’t have strong leadership, it has huge amount of potential to be incredible. The restaurant/bar has one of the most incredible views across Kata however they do not facilitate this, no entertainment, live music or anything to encourage guests to spend a nice evening at the hotel. Lack of sunbeds spaces, same music being played around the pool on repeat. I had to call reception multiple times for different kind of information, I strongly believe an information pack in the rooms containing breakfast times, gym information, laundry, beach shuttle, supermarket opening times, pool information, resort information.. having these in the rooms improves guest experience. Very nice place with beautiful beach view and spacious rooms. But the management needs to focus on few improvements. 1. Room service were poor, cleaning was not up to mark. 2. Overall staff very friendly, but there were couple of staff members whose behavior were very rude.

Nice hotel but do NOT recommend it because of the location. Far away from the beach and especially you have a difficult hill to climb, with no sidewalks. Really dangerous because you have cars passing by really really close and untided electricity cables everywhere. So especially if you have children, forget about it. There are some free rides between the hotel and the beach, but the schedule is really not suitable.

Second time staying in this wonderful place. Amazing view as you can see both beaches in the same time. The room was quiet. And standalone. Recommended to have car or motor bike as it is very uphills. Plenty of nearby shops and restaurants or just easier convenient store at the resort. Vogue room was huge and beautiful. Breakfast menu was almost the same everyday except Thai menu that changes everyday. Fresh salad ,fruits. Cafe latte machine. Big appreciations to all staffs that are still polite and helpful even I knew it was high season on the weekend and fully booked.

Wasn’t given the room we had booked but they did give us a top floor room with great views. Would’ve been nice to still experience our room which had the tub outside. Other than that the rest of the stay was good. Pool was great and view was great.
