The hotel provided a very good afternoon reception following the funeral of my aunt. The refreshments provided were of a high quality and the staff were discreet but made sure nothing ran out such as the teas and coffees. The surroundings were very attractive and in keeping with the age of the building.

I was given a very comfortable clean room for my one night stay. The room was charming as it was furnished to the era of the house. Everything that you expect from a hotel this had it, regarding beautiful clean bed linen, towels and ample number of pillows. Both bedroom and bathroom where spacious and with working radiators.Car parking, is... More

Only stayed one night but didn't want to leave. Nothing was too much trouble in this lovely hotel. Unbelievably comfortable room, friendly staff, delicious food (the breakfast kept me going all day!). Wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Gorgeous property which has been very well refurbished. Room was comfortable and high standard. Bathroom was rather squashed. We were rather close to the road and there was traffic noise much of the time. Disappointed they only had two tables set for dinner (large room was already set for breakfast!) and when we asked about a table at 19.15 they... More

Lovely setting, lovely dining area for a private party but terrible food. My partner and I were served raw lamb cutlets. I sent mine back as we were not asked how we wanted them cooked. They returned still very rare and with flabby uncooked fat on the edges. Neither I nor my partner could eat them. Across the table my... More

Attleborough is a nice town to stay in and close to Norwich which was idea for use as we had a meeting the next morning. My room was very clean, warm and comfortable with a good size TV for a change. We arrived late and had pre-advised of this so we could eat in the restaurant, the staff could not... More

I've been coming to Sherbourne House for years and all I can say is that it has really gone downhill since the new owners have taken over. I was staying with two colleagues and we had dinner in the restaurant - which started promisingly enough (although the waitress didn't seem to know the menu at all!). The food was OK,... More
