Excellent break here - wonderful house & surroundings. Furthermore, Charles & Linda made us feel entirely at home. We came away refreshed & relaxed. Exceptional.

The long drive through the landscaped grounds seemed to go on forever: a bridge, lakes, beautifully positioned trees...and then the house. One of Jane Austen's grander relatives could have lived there. A warm welcome from the hospitable owners and their friendly dogs: tea and lemon cake by the huge log fire in a room the size of our house! We're...

Linda and Charles looked after us very well, including a warm welcome and afternoon tea on arrival, (with wonderful lemon cake) and superb breakfasts. They also gave us good advice on where to eat and where to walk, plus help with maps. Harptree Court is a lovely setting both inside and out. Open fires, spacious room, lovely views and walks...

It feels a little strange calling this a B&B, it's amazing. Linda and Charles have thought of everything you would need including a torch to walk down to the local pub. Superb and impressive house, beautiful rooms and even a fox dashing past the window at breakfast. Visit and enjoy and relaxing peace and quiet, you really won't regret it....

Harptree was just a lovely place to stay. My colleague and i would much rather not have had to go to work! This was probably one of the most comfortable beds i have ever slept in....i will be bringing my husband back!

We stayed in this charming home for two nights. As you follow the winding drive to the house there is a feeling of expectation that is soon fulfilled as the house comes into view. We immediately felt welcome and there was a feeling of unstuffy grandure. We could not have asked for a nicer room - it was spacious and...

Not only is Harptree Court a beautiful English manour house, surrounded by a marvelous garden with trees the ages of time itself, but there is much more to it than that. The comforatble and spacious rooms are individually decorated in fine elegant style, the breafast is varried and delicious, and the warm welcome of Charles and Linda is as genuine...

We spent three nights at Harptree Court during October half term week. Picturesque views of autumn colours, excellent hosts, beautiful house full of character , we stayed in the comfortable and spacious Lavender room. Breakfast was excellent. Evening meals at the "Waldegrave Arms" were very good and very convenient as only 5 minutes walk from Harptree Court, would also recommend...

What a privilege it was to stay in this grand old manor house and to be treated as royalty by its personable owners, Linda and Charles. Other than its location and the difficulty finding it, I just cannot imagine a better overnight experience. The house, rooms, bathrooms, grounds, landscaping, small village location and hospitality are simply as good as it...

This charming old family house set in parkland is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the luxury of its beautifully furnished rooms. Mr and Mrs Hill, the owners, are welcoming and friendly but not intrusive, offering advice on the surrounding area and inviting visitors to explore their extensive grounds. We have never stayed at a hotel that we could...
