We spent a night here on the way to the Alps. An ideal stopover easily achieve able from Calais. Simple comfortable room which met the needs of an overnight stay. Would be happy to return. Didn't eat here so can't comment on evening meal or breakfast.

This chalet style building with a wooden roof structure is actually a solid masonry structure, without the noises associated with a big wooden building, and with good fire escapes. My room on the top floor was silent with respect to sound from other rooms, and the exterior is extremely quiet. The top floor has a useful northfacing covered lounge/balcony area ,cool in the hot weather,but...

stayed there Wednesday 14/09/2016 for the third time in the past 14 months. it's a beautiful location, the staff are very nice and very professional, the rooms are clean and adequate, but the main reason we keep going there is the fabulous food, freshly prepare, beautifully presented and extremely tasty. The atmosphere is relaxed, you can enjoy a pre -...

Stayed for one night in the hotel. Great location in a beautiful and quiet area. Great for walking. Around 5 km from the city. The hotel itself is not very well kept. Missing a bit of dedication and maintanance everywhere. Restaurant the same. Stuff that had to work but didn't feel like.

Excellent stopover on our way to Grindelwald. Vey tranquil with lovely views from our end bedroom with balcony. comfortable room and bed. Breakfast was good, all that we needed-meats. cheeses, cereals +breads and jams. A bit off the main road but with the GPS coordinates it was easy. Beautiful location ,very quiet with lovely countryside for walking but we only had...

We have stayed here several times before and this was our third New Year's Eve. There have been some changes starting with the reception where we were told we hadn't booked a room with a double bed (grand lit) - we had! This was sorted and we were put in the annexe. This was not as comfortable as the rooms...

A very good hotel for either an overnight stop or for 2 or 3 days. Well located with good views of Dole and the surrounding countryside. It offered good rooms and a reasonable restaurant. Breakfast was good too. We would definitely return when next in the area.

We've only stayed for 1 night at Chalet Mont Roland as we needed a stopover for our car trip from Belgium to Spain. The hotel is located on a hill nearby Dole; besides the hotel there is an old monastary and that's about it. Very quiet surrounding and nice views make it complete. Diner was very good but breakfast is...

We drove from UK to the Alps and this was the perfect stopover. The rooms were comfortable, not the most modern but sweet. The location is quite beautiful (and quite handy because you can avoid getting into town to take the route early next day). Dinner in the restaurant was a good surprise, and the staff wasincredibly helpful and friendly,...
