Stayed here for two nights and travelled to Versailles from this location. Family owned chateau with loads of history. Stayed in the Edmond Room, overlooking the front with three huge windows that open up. So authentic but has modern bathroom. Great soaker tub. Kettle in room for coffee and tea. Large, large space, fireplace and tv. Wonderful hostess with a...

Beautiful old chateau just an hour from Charles De Gaulle Airport. The owner received us at very short notice and really couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. Our room had high ceilings, a four poster bed, amazing chevron floor, wonderful antique furniture and a lovely view over the park like garden. The bed and bed linen were...

The chateau is a very lovely home that has been in the proprietors family for several generations. The rooms my friend and I stayed in were wonderfully decorated. The beds were perfect, pillows provided were wonderful and the towels amply fluffy. Breakfast in the dining room was delicious. Nathalie and her family are most charming. As gardeners on our way...

The Chateau de la Vierge is a B&B which is wonderful as a building. Nice rooms, with a particular feel, different to each room. Everything is 'old', and suited for a Chateau which is still in private possession. By staying here, you contribute as a guest to keep the Chateau in the family. It is surrounded by a park, which...

We stayed at this lovely place for two nights on our way back from the south of France. We were greeted by the the most charming owners. Our room was beautifully decorated and unlike most hotels in France the bed was nice and soft. It was so quiet and peaceful. Very nice breakfast served by the owners in an other...

Stayed here last week as part of a business trip to the Paris area. A very interesting old building with great character and bedrooms with individual character - I stayed in the General's room with a very comfortable 4 poster bed and a small balcony overlooking the rear garden. The quiet location and excellent shutters which blocked out the light...

We stayed at Le Chateau for a weekend whilst attending a wedding in the area and there was nobody we spoke to who stated in a more pleasant place. The building itself is a towering grand historic chateau with a large lawn stretching out below it. The design of the rooms are in keeping with the 18th century traditional theme...

This little charming hotel was excellent to host us, the parents with their 10-year-old son. The large and quiet park with several farm animals was the perfect relaxing place after an exciting day of sightseeing of the city of Paris. The histroically furnished room and the tasteful design of the bathroom - a successful combination, where we felt immediately at...

Back from a short holiday in the South of Paris , staying at the historic Chateau de la Vierge again, we have only good memories and look forward to going back again soon. We were greeted as old friends with a warm welcome by all the staff and were given – as we had hoped – the same room with...
