Just got back from spending 2 weeks at The Slate and am chomping at the bit to rebook and go back. We arrived early at the hotel (08:00 am) with booking in at 2.00 pm but Reception did everything possible to get us our room and within 30 minutes we were on our way, which started the holiday off well....

We recently returned from our week's stay at the Slate (mid-May) where we had a wonderful time staying in a D-BUK suite. Top highlights for us: -The exceptionally warm, friendly and helpful staff, from the waiters to the pool attendants to the bartenders. The concierge staff particularly went out of their way to help us book the most memorable and...

Spent nine days at Slate, recommended by work colleague. Industrial chic, theme based on local mining operations. Traditional building style mixed with concrete pillars and steps, it works. Never felt too busy and the staff were wonderful, so friendly and accommodating. The room was very comfortable, bed maybe just a tad too soft for me but not uncomfortable. Lots of...

We went in May at the start of the off-season. The hotel was not crowded and we benefitted from that . The staff were all excellent and the room itself was very good. We had one with its own plunge pool and that was an very nice feature. The breakfasts were excellent and freshly cooked to order. The pool was...

I do recommend this place for both a romantic stay or a family trip - i stayed there with my 23 years old daughter and 3 month old son and it was just perfect: 5 minutes away from the airport, huge with a lot of activities for the kids (family pool - they provide toys as well, playground with a...

I've just had an enjoyable 4 nights at the newly branded Slate. Other than the name change and some mix around with happy hours and promotions in F & B, a dash of blue paint, there were no other significant changes at the hotel formally known as Indigo Pearl that I've frequently visited. I'm pleased to say the staff did seem...

We chose The Slate because it was located near the airport and was close to the beach, we stayed for 1 night over the weekend. Upon arrival, we were greeted with the most superb staffs, 5 stars given for their customer service level!! The concierge also helped to park our car at the carpark area for us. Check-in process was...

During a trip around Phuket, Koh Lanta and Krabi we stayed in five hotels but The Slate was the top pick. Found the hotel recommended in the Telegraph travel section as the best value upmarket resort to stay in Phuket. We'd spent a night in the Marriott nearby but theSlate was a different class. Stunning grounds, large spacious rooms with...
