Hotel's Favourite
The hotel look and feels like entering an enchanted garden, so many trees, statues and flowers. We stayed with our 5 kids and we all had wonderful time. One pool have 4 slides and floaties to borrow for kids, the other one is with pool bar and restaurant. The food was beautifully served and so delicious. The third pool is separated by trees, so people can get rest far from families with kids. The room was clean with beautiful view to the swimming pool and Karon beach. We loved our stay and definitely will book again.

Lovley hotel and grounds, staff excellent polite and good speaking English. Eddie has been exceptional so helpful polite and friendly, he was always there with his beautiful smile happy to help. Rooms very spacious beds very comfortable, breakfast was a large variety of foods the pool bar was such an awesome area for the kids and adults and the two staff that work there (A and JJ) are exceptional good with the customer service and helped us alot with information and our inquiring about stuff in Thailand thank you boys 👍👍 Location was pretty good and beach access right across the road

We stayed at the hotel with our two young children (5 year olds) for a total of 6 nights staying in the Family Connecting Deluxe Terrace room for 5 nights and the Family Fun Deluxe Terrace for one night. The hotel itself is a mix of Thai Colonial design with beautiful gardens. They must have a team of gardeners overseeing it. The hotel has multiple dining options and we found plenty of choices to suit us. There is also the benefit of plenty of local options should you want to explore outside of the hotel. NOTE the Free VIP Club Lounge Access is nowhere near as good as what we'd experienced at other hotels, fine if free but I'd definitely not pay for it. We used it once and found it very underwhelming. The hotel staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The pools especially the slides were a favourite of the kids and highly recommended for families with young kids to keep them entertained. We also took advantage of the art class which the kids also really enjoyed (note only available Sat and Sun). Plus the petting zoo was a nice bonus. Finally, the rooms which were good albeit quite dated. I felt that the Family Fun Deluxe Terrace room had more of a fresher feel to it and even though we were all in one room (Queen bed with bunks on the opposite side of the room separated by a divider) it did offer some privacy. Worth noting that the hotel has three accommodation wings, wing 3 has the road and beach club close to it and I'd guess could be quite noisy at weekends, wing 1 (where we stayed) is also close to the road and can be quite noisy with traffic. …

This is only my second time putting up a review even before my stay ended. Thought that it is worthwhile to do an interim review before I post the usual full one at the end of my stay. Checked in today at Thavorn. Was a few hours earlier than the check-in time but staff was accomodating and made us comfortable while waiting for our room. Got to use the pool and had a meal before checking in officially. A shout out to Eddie who has helped us tremendously when we were here. He is the go-to-guy that you really really must look for when you are here. He made multiple trips to the luggage room for us, made sure we had everything in the lounge, provided tips on where to go, made sure we checked in safely, made sure our room was ok. Very passionate, friendly and enthusiastic person. It has been nothing short of wonderful for this first day and Eddie made it even sweeter. Looking forward to the rest of the stay here. …

Incredible experience. Staff unbelievably friendly and felt welcomed by everyone. Breakfasts were truely a site to behold. Every taste is catered for. The pool areas and gardens are well kept and has space for kids to have fun, parents to relax and everything in between. Ice cream parlour will cool you down and have many flavours to choose from. A special mention to the following people who assisted in making this a wonderful time in Thailand: *Janie and Annie at Reception *Eddie with our luggage (storing and loading while we waited for our airport transfer) *Tan, Wan & K.Ware at the Restaurant (Beeakfast, Lunch & Dinner) *Benly for refreshing and making our room comfortable each time. Make sure you take the kids to feed the animals at the petting area 11am or 4pm The beach is across the road. Loads of open space and also loungers & umbrellas to rent for the day. We spent a brilliant 4 days at Thavorn and could not have been happier with the service at the hotel. The easy access to the beach, large pool facilities and slides, and the easy access to the rest of the island from the hotel made our stay in Phuket a very enjoyable one. Rooms are spacious, airy, clean and have great terraces with access/views to the pool and central courtyard.
