Better to exchange near the hotel and in Thailand. You will get a better rate than at the bank back home. Just bring lager crisp bills. As for transfers I am not sure as I had them included via buffalo tours.

I never had any such experience while staying there last year. My trip was pre booked, so everything was in order when I arrived. It’s a very nice place to stay with lovely staff who are always willing to assist.
