I stayed for four nights at the Casa Blanca in March 2022. Before I arrived, Jessica was very helpful through emails, and reserved the John Gray Sea Canoe day trip for me, and the Green Elephant Sanctuary, both of which I highly recommend!! She was very helpful explaining some of the Thailand Pass requirements, which was a bit daunting. The hotel is located quite well, and it was very clean and nicely decorated. My room had a view of the pool, which was rather spare, but I was told the views of the street would be noisy at night, so I preferred the quieter choice. I had two occasions that left me a little less than satisfied. I wanted to go to Nai Harn Beach; the staff were happy to order a taxi, but it would've cost $15 each way, so I wanted to see about taking the bus (partly for the adventure!). She gave me directions to the "bus station", and after walking in the heat some long blocks there...I discovered the "bus station" was actually buses parked along the sidewalk, but going only to Patong and Kata/Kamala Beaches! I'm writing that partly to save anyone the trouble (unless those are the destinations you want!). I ended up taking a friendly tuktuk for a little less than $15, but it was well worth it. The more important snafu was that I wanted to take a boat from Phuket to AoNang the following day, and my son had told me there was one that took two hours (he'd been there 3 weeks previously). When the staff person looked it up, she only found one boat, that stopped at PhiPhi island for four hours, so it basically would take most of the day. I had specific plans for the one day at AoNang (going to Railay Beach, Tiger Cave Temple, etc!), so I was disappointed to hear that it would take so long! I looked up direct boats to AoNang, and there were several booking agencies for the 2-hour boat ride. If you're going to do this, go to www.rassadapier.com--they pick you up at the hotel, and drop you off at your hotel, for the same price, 700THB! When I showed that to the staff person, so she could make a note for her guests making this inquiry in the future, she was glad for me, but took no note of it. So, it is a lovely hotel, but I wasn't so happy with their assistance once I was there (although they were very friendly!). Just do your own research.…
Casa Blanca hotel is a very tasteful and intimate hotel. Inspired by the luminosity of North African art.Every aspect of the hotel is lovingly maintained. The staff are charming and attentive. The location is in walking distance of numerous restaurants and spas. Perfect retreat from the routine.
The room was nicely decorated with a balcony overlooking the street. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The welcome drink was served in your room, which was a nice change and avoids that awkward must drink this now moment in reception! The location is great. We only stayed one night in the Casa Blanca but we really enjoyed it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it if you're in Phuket Town.
Casa Blanca went above and beyond in their hospitality service during my stay during these covid times. I had a lot of issues navigating through the Phuket Sandbox program and also ferry services. They acted as our trip agent and spent multiple hours working through my dilemmas. I highly recommend this hotel, its clean, comfortable rooms and in the heart of the city. Even after I departed, they still worked through logistical issues that we had during the trip.
This place is truly a gem in the old town area, beautifully decorated and just around the corner from Krabi road. The rooms are tasteful and comfortable. I would highly recommend the coffee shop, all the cakes are home made by the owner. Definitely a great choice if you want the enjoy the colonial atmosphere in the old town!
