Greeted at the door by the most hospitable Lynton at this historic convict station. Lynton was most knowledgeable regarding the history of the station and its many uses over the years. He advised us of the best touring routes to take to absorb the history of the Tasman Peninsula. Most informative. Yes, the house is old, well really, it's a...

Was given a larger room with own ensuite (shower/toilet) very comfortable, quiet and warm. What a pleasant stay. A lovely historic accommodation stopover in Taranna not far from Port Arthur. The hosts at this establishment were very friendly and knowledgeable about the whole area on the Tasman Peninsula. A comfy atmosphere and an amazing Continental breakfast. Just down the road is the "Unzoo" wildlife sanctuary. Also a must to visit. An entirely desirable location...

After the sobering visit to Port Arthur, great to get to this cosy, welcoming and beautifully located B&B. We had the very spacious Post Office room (with ensuite) but loved sitting in front of the open fire in the sitting room, reading while sipping on port. The breakfast especially the home made jams, was very memorable. Good price and wonderful...

Location was perfect for our visit to Port Arthur. Directly opposite the jetty it's a quiet, peaceful location with friendly locals. The bed was comfortable and our room had everything we needed. The shared sitting room was inviting, welll stocked with books, DVDs and games for those on a longer stay. Home made breads and jams and fresh brewed coffee...

Stayed just the one night but would have like to stay more. As a group of three women travelling together this was just perfect. Two of us stayed in the Post Office room which had its own ensuite and separate entrance, a divine little room. Our Aunt stayed in the Garden room, also an ensuite, but it also had bunks,...

It was a cold evening when we arrived at Norfolk Bay Convict Station but the host was very warm and welcoming when we entered the quaint B&B where we stayed on our first night in Tassie! The host talked us through the history of the area and the house and provided recommendations for activities and dinner options. The B&B is...
