If you need a clean, homely place with no wifi, no television and friendly service to get away from it all, this is it. Our group of 4 were allocated two cottages - one with a bunch of orchids hanging over the doorway and another next to a night blooming jasmine which gave off a wonderful fragrance in the night....

This farm grows mango's, rubber (speak out as lubber) and offers some relaxed lodges - walking to a close by river is a welcoming calmness after being on the road or in the Chiang Dao Cave or Temples. The owner speaks good English and makes you feel home... The silence compensates for the price (bht 1200/night)

Stunning natural surroundings. The farm itself is beautiful. The gardens in the center rival those of a hotel's. The family running the farm is so friendly and helpful. Biking around the area was wonderful. For those without cars, one thing to note is that it gets completely dark after sundown and you should plan to either be back before dark...

Me and my mum had a fantastic stay here. Not only we were served with really delicious food but we also got to see how the food was prepared. The place is located overlooking the Chiang Dao mountain. Beautiful views and having it right smack in the farm, it's peaceful and convenient if you want a taste of some of...

I enjoyed our brief visit here among the fruit trees. It was very relaxing. The host was just lovely and encouraged us to wander around and pick the fruit right off the trees. We enjoyed some delicious rambutans and longans. There was lots of open space for the kids to burn some energy too. The bungalows are basic but very...

The property is set in the nature, in a quiet and beautiful spot, surrounded by mango and rambutan trees. The bungalows are basic but very clean and comfortable and for the fist time in Thailand we had no outside noise, we slept so peacefully! The owners speak good english and are very friendly and helpful. We always had dinner there...

Wonderful people own this collection of charming bungalows- Pepsi & Don. Not the cheapest digs in town, but a very nice place to stay, and worth it. You will definitely need to rent a motorbike anywhere you stay in Chiang Dao because there are pretty much no taxis, sawng thau, or any other way of getting around otherwise. A bicycle...

We loved staying with the lovely couple that owns this farm, Tong and Pepsi. We felt so relaxed at their gorgeous property, it was the perfect way to end our stay in Thailand. It was so nice talking to Tong about Thailand and learning about the history of their lush family farm. Pepsi is a wonderful cook and helped us...

This stay was the highlight of my time in north Thailand. We were there for 4 nights and could have stayed longer. Don't miss a chance to relax and drink up the serene beauty of this retreat-like setting. The host is welcoming and generous and the facilities are pristine and beyond adequate. . . .a total joy.

To be able to escape the city and the traffic to a place where the only distraction is the sound of song birds waking you up is a beautiful thing, and that's just what Yang Tone is, a beautiful thing. If turning off the phone and internet to lose yourself in the beauty of Northern Thailand's natural wonders is your...
