Jeff is the most fantastic host and his property is beautiful! The casitas are beautiful, functional, and very clean. The casitas have small kitchenettes (mini-fridge, sink, some dishes, microwave) and the property has a large, well-stocked kitchen area for guest use if you want to cook your own meals, store things in large refrigerators, eat in a nice large dining room, etc. The property is landscaped really beautifully and is just far enough from Bocas Town to really feel like you are in the jungle and pretty secluded but also close enough that a $2 taxi ride gets you in to Bocas Town in less than 5 minutes. The ocean (and a beach!) is literally just across the road. Jeff is super knowledgeable about the area, things to do, services to use, etc. He helped us plan excursions with companies and also advised us what he thought we should do ourselves and how to do things ourselves. He set stuff up for us, scheduled rides, excursions, etc. and made absolutely everything no-hassle. We cannot wait to go back and stay with him again!

Paradise Waits is a delightful retreat from the moment you step through the gate! The landscaping is breathtaking and the accommodations are beautifully designed. Each casita is well appointed for comfort with ensuite bathrooms, hot showers, kitchenettes, air conditioning, fans, a desk and sitting area, not to mention the beds are incredibly comfortable. The common area consists of a large, uniquely decorated screened in living room with multiple seating areas and a multiuse, enormous covered porch which includes an outdoor kitchen with grill. These spacious accommodations are adjacent to the incredibly inviting pool and patio. The ambiance is playful, casual, comfortable island life. I must mention how helpful, inviting and easygoing the host is, as are his 3 friendly dogs. He is very knowledgeable about the area and a pleasure to talk to while his dogs take you under their care, watching your casita. They love sitting on your balcony to greet you when return or play lookout when you rest. Our overall experience at Paradise Waits was absolutely incredible! We even had guests who moved from another resort join us and they too were charmed by the ambiance and accommodations. If you're looking to find a resort with that personal touch of wonder, look no further!

If you love nature, tranquility, and good vibes, this is your place! I loved my stay here so much that my 4 week stay turned into 6. The location is absolutely perfect, close enough to access the conveniences of town but far enough to enjoy quiet and solitude. The casitas are nestled in a beautiful garden full of flowers and hummingbirds and contain everything you need, including ac, hot water, comfy beds, and a nice kitchenette. The french press was an added bonus! For cooking larger meals there is a full outdoor kitchen and there is a spacious social area where we frequently would share our Bocas adventures over a few beers. There will also be a pool there very soon as it was almost complete when I left! Monkeys were a daily sighting and I would sometimes spot a sloth while I relaxed in my hammock. I loved falling asleep to the sounds of the waves crashing and waking up to the sounds of jungle birds. Jeff is more than just a host, I now consider him a friend. He is so friendly, fun-loving, and laid back and we shared many laughs and good times. I will be back!

This property is a dream! The moment you get to the gate it is beautiful. you immediately walk under an arch of flowers and vines after passing the grateful dead surf board sign and are welcomed by three of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. The rooms are perfect and have everything you need, a nice porch, a hot shower(inside and outside), a king size bed, fans & a/c, beautiful artwork around the room and in the spacious shower, and a kitchenette inside the room. outside there is a full kitchen with an enclosed hang out area with a giant table and lots of comfortable seating. But most importantly Jeff is the nicest, most kind, thoughtful, genuine guy and the perfect host. I would 100% recommend staying here and it is the perfect location between town and some great surf spots. Jeff thanks for being so awesome and making us feel at home ! (Also there is a new pool that is almost finished!)

Upon arrival, we were elated to see the family crest (the good ol’stealie) on the sign! Jeff greeted us with a smile and a beer - an indicator of the wonderful stay to come! He showed us around the lush, green property which is fully fenced in for security. The yurt that we stayed in was spotlessly clean, had a bolted safe , ceiling fan and ac unit. During the day, we used AC and it cooled down very quickly. The nights were perfect with open windows and the ceiling fan. We fell asleep in a comfy bed to the sounds of the waves crashing - majestic, right?! The walk-in shower had ample space and great hot water pressure. We even did a large load of laundry onsite for just $5. We chose to do breakfast every morning which was only $5/person, and varied from waffles and egg to omelettes and fresh fruit - worth it! Also, there is a beach about 15-20 minute walk toward town that is just lovely. The views from just about anywhere are spectacular, but we especially enjoyed that there wasn’t too much foot traffic there. Jeff will likely recommend the island tour and you should definitely take him up on that. He organized transportation to the pickup spot and scheduled everything for us! He is an excellent host and we will be back soon, for sure! ❤️NFA💙
