Again I have visited Hotel Marstal and had the pepper-steak which is always great. The meat quality is some of the best of the entire island and the service is in top. I can only reccomend Hotel Marstal if you need a good meal.

After our first day bicycling around the island, we had our first night here. The rooms were good with comfortable beds. Our room had windows on both sides which improved the ventilation this warm summer night. Breakfast was a bit poor. We missed for example boiled eggs. Location is fine and especially away from the church that at other lodgings...

It seemed to be the only restaurant open at that time - out of season and late on Friday night and really just before the restaurant was due to shut. There was another table of 6 guests having their dinner. I had a superb "plat du jour" followed by a dessert of superb icecream. (And an Odense beer) Madame was...

Perfectly located by the marina and super short walk to the main street of Marstal with shopping and restaurants. The prices are somewhat steep for the off season we thought, as the rooms are rather basic. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
