We once again stayed at Smuggler's Den for a week and went with another couple. Casa Kyle was perfect for the four of us and the food was amazing as usual. The staff provides just enough assistance but leaves you alone with the serenity all day long. The peace and quiet goes perfectly with the smooth breeze off the bay....

The owners are accommodating and very friendly at this amazing little get away. The bungalows are clean fresh and very comfortable. The restaurant serves great food with a smile and the bar is nice also. If nothing else just come for the day and get some good food and enjoy the well manicured park like grounds. I would recommend this to...

We spent 4 nights at Smugglers Den and out of all the places we stayed in Belize this was by far our favourite! Ray and his familty were very welcoming, the food was delicious and I have to agree with the roast beef comments, it was the best roast beef I ever had. Yummy! We stayed in Casa Leo, it...

If you are looking for the perfect get-away at a nice private beach run by an exceptional family, then this is your place. The grounds are gorgeous, the breeze coming off Corozal Bay is unbeatable, and the facilities are tremendous. Despite the immaculate grounds and the terrific locale, the best part of this place may actually be the food and...

We eat here once or twice a week. They serve the BEST Roast Beef in Belize on Sundays - by reservation and we rarely miss it. The girls work hard and and provide the tops in service, smiles and scrumptious fare. Rsay keep the libations on the move and is always available for a chat - unless the place is...

This is a very quaint, lovely place. A hide away of sorts. It is out of the way so food is limited to what they sell or make in their restaurant, which includes the most delicious ice cream I've ever experienced! Ray is from Canada, so every sentence ends with, "Right?". Many Canadians end with "eh", but with him it's...

We stayed here for one night in November 2013. We were wondering what it was going to be like after the pot hole road we had travelled, and were very happy with our accommodations once we got there. As there were 4 of us we stayed in Casa Kyle, it was very comfortable and we had the place to ourselves....

Hey you guys! Thanks for your kind review! We are truly grateful for your patience and understanding. This had to be the most active rainy season in the many years we've been here. Sincerely, Ray and Family

A buddy and I stopped in at Smugglers Den for 2 nights several years ago. We were there in the off season and had the entire place to ourselves. As noted in some of the other reviews, it is one heck of a drive on the Northern Highway but very worth it! This is not your typical 500 room resort,...

It was a bumpy road out to Consejo and arriving at night made things interesting but the owner was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and our stay was almost perfect - plenty to keep my little boy interested including a kayak to take out on the calm sea water with beautiful cabinas to sleep in at night. And the dinners in...

We stayed in the Casa Leo unit for a total of 4 nights. The location is beautiful and serene - we got the most restful sleep at this location. The bay is calming and feels great. Ray & Rosa are AMAZING! They welcome you right in. Rosa may be the nicest person I've ever met! The snowbirds residing in surrounding...
