Furaveri is definitely one of the best affordable 5 star resorts in the Maldives. While I’m a frequent traveler to the Maldives I somehow wasn’t aware of it. During May I spent an unforgettable 10 days, and it was mainly thanks to amazing managers like Avi; highly dedicated staff, like as Naami, Pervi, Aadhel, Annan, Iqbal, Chef Israel, Peter and Youssef (from the dive center), Tutu and Sunni (from the watersport center), and many others. The island resort is spacious enough to provide tranquility and accessibility. Buggies go around frequently and transport guests from and to - the villas, the beaches, the pools and the restaurants. The service is by far the best I’ve encountered across 5 star hotels. The staff is going out of their way (and schedules) to accommodate all requests and the wimps of guests - to ensure high level of guest satisfaction. I was connected on WhatsApp with managers and staff to personalize my experience. Not once was I denied. The entire resort team was warm, positive and helpful. Which is a strong indication that Furaveri is run by a top-notch general manager and a strong leadership. I checked 4 restaurants. The Mexican restaurant is run by an experienced Mexican chef (Chef Israel) and is located in an amazing spot surrounded by the laguna and the ocean. The Asian fusion restaurant provides excellent dishes, including traditional Maldivians’ and is a great place to watch the sunset. The villas are clean, nicely furnished and well equipped. The beds are relatively new and comfortable. In the beach villas one can see and hear the ocean waves. The dive center is run by Youssef who’s very friendly, welcoming and professional. I had the privilege to be guided by Peter (Piotr). Peter has an abundance of knowledge, as well as sound teaching skills. We had fantastic dives (eagle rays, sharks, tuna fish, barracudas, …) and an interesting deep dive speciality, all without taking any unnecessary risks. Also the watersports team was very helpful and knowledgeable, and it helped me to plan and execute the house reef snorkelling endeavours. I can’t wait to come back with my family. …

Wow, what an amazing stay we had with Furaveri, Maldives. We went as a family of four- two young children ages 5 and 2. The resort is extremely family friendly. From the moment we landed via the sea plane, we felt the love the staff have for their guests. The welcome was so wholesome. Ayu was so sweet, she told us to contact her should we require anything during our stay. She helped me get a good deal for a massage. Ashku was amazing!! The best Balinese massage ever!! Ren welcomed us at reception and was clear in her communication about what and how we can access the facilities. We booked the all inclusive private pool beach villa. My daughter used the kids club and she enjoyed Rabia’s company. She spent time crafting crabs out of palm leaves which my daughter absolutely loved. The staff at Jaffaiy were absolutely amazing. Suleiman, Navee and Manu were incredibly sweet. So welcoming and very kind towards our children, which helped as they would entertain and bring my children’s favourite juices even before we requested it. On our last day they set our table for a farewell breakfast which me and my husband thought was such a sweet touch to end our holiday. All in all communication was made very easy via the use of WhatsApp. I would highly recommend this resort for families. 10/10 …

Visited Furaveri with family stayed in ocean pool villa, it's a beautiful well maintained resort with excellent staff. Many food options available in the buffet. Reni our resort advisor was excellent in arranging our stay. It's our 3rd visit to this resort, we noticed significant development in service and facilities, food was excellent, last time we had difficulties in getting hold of buggy but now they have implemented buggy shuttle service with buggy stops which is excellent, we had an unforgettable dolphin watch cruise, kids enjoyed the crab race, when we were in the jetty for departure my wife's hat flew in the wind and landed in the sea, it went to the bottom and one of the local staff who was there jumped to see and helped her to get the hat back, it was just amazing commitment and Infact he had the option to skip it but he did it and that shows how comited they are when it comes to guest care. Definitely we will visit again...

Everything about this place for us was exceptional! We had a premium island wide all-inclusive package which you definitely need to take up if you stay in here. Included in our package as a whole host of trips, snorkelling lessons, windsurfing lessons, and the opportunity to go to one of the à la carte restaurants.Which staff their were excellent, sorry guys I didn’t get your names but your service was excellent and so friendly too. Also in our package was an anti-jetlag massage. You must must go to the spa all the staff their were beyond brilliant , so much so we went twice. This was definitely true pampering at it’s best. The beach bungalow was perfect in every way ,we got to walk to the beach in less than 15 seconds! Staff at the resort are attentive and really want to make your stay memorable. We have to thank the staff in the Jaafaiy restaurant for their excellent service Ibrahim wonderful man , always friendly and cheerful .Sulieman , what a friendly gentleman , always looking after us and always friendly,. Shiraz, Gokul , brilliant service every day and Rohit working so hard to make our stay memorable. Food was lovely every day plenty of choice , plenty of fresh cooked food too. My only complaint would be some of the desserts were a bit watery! But this is a minor thing.As overall everything was amazing. Furaveri resort you are blessed in having the most wonderful hardworking staff team. A big thank you to Shaily she is an absolute star and answered all our questions and helped us when our case broke! One of the most memorable parts for me was observing the baby sharks feeding time on the evening. The marine life is so lovely to see. I travelled solo to furaveri from the uk and this place exceeded my expectations. The place is beautiful and peace on earth, however the staff are what make it memorable, rohit mt attentive waiter who has your drink and table waiting. Kaream for all your entertainment from fire shows to karoke and aqaufit, 7 whoop whoop. However the main stars for me where the bar staff , Sangetta for her kind nature and fetching me water when i was feel a tad rough and the boys hari , kumur for my amazing cocktails and humour, mother flower(never did get to know his real name) for your serious funny side. You guys where amazing company for a lady travelling alone and with the amazing friends I met you made my holiday an amazing experience . A small seaplane took us from Male over the picturesque atolls to Furaveri Island. From the first minute we were warmly welcomed there and befriended. The staff is without exception heartwarming and highly professional. The service of our personal assistant Faizy was attentive and fast responding. We especially connected with the buggy driver Ramesh from Nepal, Rohit our heartwarming and fun waiter in the main restaurant (always knowing our orders at our arrival) and Rajesh who served us VIP-like at Amigos! There was even a surprise dinner on our last night. The food from the Mexican chef was not only excellent in the amigos restaurant but also at Mexican night in the main restaurant (comida mexicana mejor en mi vida). Every night is a certain theme buffet - always tasty and great choice. There is a lot of dishes in the buffets and the drinks are delicious as well. All inclusive is definitely highly recommended. Our beach villa with private pool was worth every penny. We loved going back and forth between the ocean, pool and the 4 (!) showers. An escape to the wellness village with its spa and sports area rounded up our stay. The staff at wellness villa is very polite and the Balinese massage was super relaxing (felt like an escape to the relax universe). The gym is nicely equipped but it might be nice to have some newer gear (felt like the treadmill was kinda old) but instead of using it we ran outside - the track around island is 1,6 km long; perfect for running some rounds in the morning. There is also a nice tennis court, which we loved to use in the morning too. At nights there are different entertainment shows at the bar next to the pool. The show master is very engaging and even with a small audience he pulled off memorable nights! The island itself is more then wonderful. It feels like being in a tropical botanical garden. The landscaping with all its details are simply stunning! There is even a garden where they grow fruits and vegetables for the restaurants - a gardener showed us around which was super interesting! Overall the island is picturesque at every corner at every time of the day! All in all a wonderful experience! We will be happy to come back again!…
