We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights . Wish we had done longer! The grounds are beautiful. The resort is incredibly peaceful. You can hear and feel nature in your surroundings. The service from every single staff member is exceptional. Above and beyond. The attention to details is outstanding. The restaurants are fantastic. Again brilliant service and the quality of food served is amazing. The app Is great. You can order a buggy and it will be with you in minutes. Let house know to service the room the second you leave. Nothing is too much trouble . Everything here is 5* standard so you can relax and enjoy an amazing holiday. We used the kids club. Also fantastic. The girls are brilliant there. My kids loved it. Highly recommend the cooking source with chef Ton. The pool villas are exceptional standard. You won’t be disappointed . Worth the money. A memorable stay.…

We were overwhelmed by the impeccable service and friendliness of all staff. Nothing was too much trouble, no matter what we requested. Wonderfully comfortable bed and luxurious bed linen. We were on holiday to celebrate a special birthday. Cake and room decorations were perfect. Thank you Anantara Mai Khao. We will return one day soon.

We booked a two bedroom double pool villa for our trip with our children. While the separate pools and courtyards were nice, the villa was a bit worn around the edges. The restaurants at the resort were overpriced and not particularly noteworthy. There were very few shops or restaurants nearby outside of the resort, and the location is a bit isolated. One afternoon, we requested ice be delivered at 5pm. It did not arrive, so we requested it again at six and thought nothing more of it. We we startled awake at 5am the next morning when hotel staff came to deliver the ice we had requested the previous day. A misunderstanding perhaps, but it seemed to lack common sense on the staff’s part. The beanbags by the beach were lovely, as was the beach itself. Breakfast was ok, but not anything special. At least once a day, we were propositioned for their vacation club/timeshare sales pitch, which was rather annoying. Overall, there are nicer properties on Phuket for the same or less money.…

Whether to completely escape and/or see and feel the warmth of phuket, Anantara Mai Khao is a true destination. Service and Hospitality is beyond expectation and the architectural landscape and design spectacular. Snorkeling and diving for novice and experienced a must. And be sure to visit and interact at the elephant sanctuary.

The villa was fabulous. The air-conditioning never really worked well, but two groups tried to fix it. The staff was wonderful, eager to please. The restaurants and pool were great and very well maintained.
