We have stayed at the Angsana many times, we left just as Covid struck and we have waited patiently to return. The hotel gardens and pool areas were looking immaculate and the improvements to the beach area are excellent. What makes this hotel special and the main reason we keep coming back is the wonderful staff. From check in to departure Bow looked after us all and is a fantastic addition to the reception. The Marketplace provided fantastic breakfast with June and Rin providing superb quality service. We ate breakfast out on the terrace and our table for 8 was always waiting with a welcoming smile from Rin. Manager June goes round ensuring you want for nothing and provided little suggestions for day trips or new foods you may wish try. One staff member who we were delighted to see was Doung at the pool area. Doung can only be described as a Legend and you are treated like Royalty, towels placed out for you, fruit kebabs and water to keep us hydrated all day. Doung typifies the staff at the Angsana delivering his service from his heart. We all had loft bedroom suites which were about to be refreshed as we departed and it was evident that a programme of upgrades was being carried out and being undertaken with minimum impact on guests. It was 3 years since our last visit but hopefully we will be back a lot sooner next time. …

Stayed 4 days in a 2 Bedroom Island suite facing the lake. It was beautiful and blissfully quiet with nice birdsongs in the morning. Breakfast at Market Place had a good spread and breakfast at Bodega Grill offered a more peaceful serene option by the pool. Plus there’s an ala carte menu. Tried the steak n eggs, grilled salmon n rice, waffles. Nice beach n pool but we didn’t try it as it was rather crowded and noisy due to a 2 day Indian wedding. Was glad we had a room away from the wedding. Had a special surprise birthday cake and towel arrangement on my mom’s birthday. We didn’t tell the hotel about it but they must have noticed it from the passport. Good catch and nice surprise! All the staff were very polite and pleasant. I had the pleasure of staying at this property for a week, one which I will not soon forget. If you are looking for service of the highest standard, an unbeatable resort with stunning surroundings, endless food, drink, and activity options, all in beautifully relaxed, atmosphere, then search no more! Angsana Laguna is a large complex with many different sizes and styles of accommodation, so regardless of whether you’re travelling solo like me, or as a couple or family, you will absolutely find what you’re looking for! There is a stunning lagoon surrounding the entire complex, I used the complementary paddle boards and kayaks to navigate this waterway and it was nothing short of gorgeous! Honestly, the whole resort is beautiful, there’s so many luscious trees and bushes everywhere, it’s impossible not to fall in love with the scenery. Canal Village is a nearby destination boasting a 24 hour minimart, stores, restaurants etc, and just a short 12 minute walk away. Or, take the complementary shuttle boat or on-demand shuttle bus to get there, other destinations in the neighborhood: so convenient! “Boat Avenue” is another area a touch further away, you can take a shuttle there as well, there are multiple restaurant and pub options, a superb Friday night market, lots of shopping, etc. Everything’s so close! Ansanga’s sister hotel Cassia has convenient multiple daily shuttles to both Phuket Town and Patong, two neighbouring towns which are “must-sees” while in Phuket! My villa (1403) was a one bedroom loft sitting right on the lagoon which I absolutely loved! The living room had a huge sundeck with loungers. I sat out there every night before going to bed, relaxing after a busy day … and sometimes a busy day of doing absolutely nothing! The Illy coffee maker, kettle and fridge came in handy with complimentary coffee and water readily available. The bed was incredibly comfortable, which is a lot coming from someone like me who is super picky! It was handy having a two piece bathroom on the main level. I adored this room and the setting. Although I was travelling solo, there were many couples and a lot of families with children, and everybody seemed to be having a really great time! There are multiple daily activities for adults and children alike and there appeared to be an extensive kids club. There are several options for breakfast, and they were all great. Throughout this expansive resort there are multiple dining choices (some a little fancy, some, less so) including Mediterranean, Italian, Western, Thai… and all really delicious! The restaurant staff are all a complete delight, and it almost seems like there’s nothing they won’t do to make your dining experience more pleasurable! The pool winds its way throughout the inner courtyard of the resort, consequently I could always find an area as quiet or as active as I felt like enjoying at that particular time. Poolside dining was also delicious (the fries were huge, spring rolls sooo fresh!) The resort sits on the stunning 6K long Bang Tao beach. There’s loads of lounge chairs, both on a grassy area and also on the sandy beachside right at the resort, so take your pick. Xana is the Resort’s complimentary beach club with a fresh water infinity pool, and even more dining and lounging options. The choices are endless! Seems weird, but I even loved the towels, so huge and super soft, unlike many resorts I have been to. Bars and restaurants line the beach for miles so you’ll never go hungry or thirsty! Snorkelling is my thing, I hired a long boat off the beach a couple times to Rock Island and another local snorkeling destination. Also, at the north end of the beach you can snorkel around the big”rock/island”directly off the shore. You’ll know it when you see it! Oh…incredible massage!!! As if all that wasn’t enough, the absolutely best thing about Angsana Laguna in my opinion? ALL of the hard-working, considerate and dedicated staff. I believe they would literally bend over backwards for you if you asked, they’re that accommodating! Did I mention I was picky? I needed a couple things adjusted in my room one night and before you know it, there was a whole team at my door within five minutes.” (At midnight!) Twenty minutes later, the AC was working better than before, and a couple other minor issues were taken care of. Always with a smile. Housekeeping is spectacular! I’ve been traveling around southeast Asia for about 10 weeks and I can confidently say that the service I have experience, here is the best, bar none! Simple and quick check in, beautifully late check out accommodating my 10 PM flight, everything was perfect! An extra shout out to June at Market Place restaurant and Tos at the front desk. Mos (evening “caretaker”) is the handiest guy who can fix anything, anywhere, anytime, always with a beautiful smile. My all-time favorite team member is Victor, the night manager. Honestly, this gentleman is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met in my life, and he consistently goes out of his way to make sure that you are as happy as humanly possible! I believe his intention is not simply to make sure that you are satisfied as a client, but that you are genuinely happy as a person, and he will do whatever he can to make that happen. I stayed at Angsana after having surgery at PIAC. It was a really nice place to stay and recover. The staff are great, the Villas are so relaxing, clean & tidy. The gardens and the grounds of the resort are immaculate. Such a great place ❤️ The buffet is so good 😍

Very pleasant staying at the Angsana Laguna, best hotel, great service. June very friendly always greeting us every morning, look after us at Market Place. As my condition post surgery, she giving me advice and cheer up for things to do or visit (not physically). Giving us the best Mango Thai Custard ever, introduce us to variety traditions things to try.

The best resort I've ever stayed so far! It was really huge and every corner is just relaxing whether you want to swim or just chill by the beach. The shuttle transport was very convenient (since it's a really big place, you would need it). The staff was exceptional especially Sir Jeff, the Filipino. He was very approachable and welcoming. He assisted us the way to our room and gave us the best one! He attended to us all the time whenever we needed something. 5 stars all in all!

Great stay at Angsana, facilities are amazing, perfect for families with the beach pool & shallow pool for young kids. The staff were so lovely and friendly, especially at the restaurants - playing with our kids and helping us through meal times! Thank you to Chompoo at breakfast at Bodega for entertaining our baby while we ate! She and all the other staff were so kind and always greeted us with big smiles. Would stay again, we were very sad to leave!
